Lukas shook his head, amused by her. He then went back to dealing with the blood rabbit while Nadia refused to look at him again. After cleansing it with water, he brought it to the fire and roasted it under Nadia's watchful, bright eyes. She was even almost salivating.
Nadia gulped, her right hand sneaking to her stomach, rubbing it lightly. She was so hungry that she couldn't sit still watching the meat being roasted.
Lukas glanced at her, his lips quirking into a smile.
'Cute…'
The meat was cooked so excruciatingly slow that Nadia almost wanted to pounce on it so many times, but was only held back because Lukas kept feeding her berries when she was about to do it. They soon ate in silence– well, Lukas did.
Nadia sniffles. "It's so good."
Although it tasted nothing special, even a little bland, for Nadia, it was the most fragrant food she had ever eaten.
