章 14: Trouble
'Please...please! Please let there be no problems today!!!' Kellian begged while she prepared for school.
Kellian arrived on time and to her surprise, the boys were waiting for her. Leo was standing nervously with a cute little bag in his hands. Dexter was comforting Leo. And Ryder was leaning against a wall, wearing headphones with his eyes closed.
Noticing Kellian, Leo hid the bag then greeted her, "Kelly!!! Guess what!"
"What?" She tilted her head, still a little curious about the bah he hid.
"You're supposed to guess, Stupid," Ryder said opening his eyes to look at her.
'Of course, he's being a butt again! I thought we were friends now. Hmph. At least he's not calling me blueberry anymore.' Kellian complained.
"Ryder's got you a present!" Leo said cheerfully, handing her the bag.
His face changed from joy to nervous anticipation as soon as she accepted the gift bag.
'Why do you look like you're the one who's giving me the gift? Also...That jerk can't even hand me a bag!? ...Fine what did he get me?' Kellian questioned herself unconsciously raising an eyebrow.
Kellian opened the bag and saw two boxes. A small box and a larger box. She took out the larger box and realised it was a phone.
Her first question was, "Is this for me?"
"Who else? Liam begged me to buy you one." Ryder explained.
Her next question was, "Is this expensive?"
Ryder looked at her worried expression, then at the latest Samsung phone in her hand.
"No. Why would I waste money on you? I just told my butler to buy a phone for a frie– a person and he got this." Ryder explained.
"Okay!" Kellian said excitedly.
She took out the phone and it was stunning. She couldn't believe that this didn't cost much.
"Are you sure this didn't cost much? What if your butler—"
"Sigh. Barely any money was taken from my account. It was like giving away a single dollar." Technically Ryder wasn't lying. The amount of money the phone cost isn't even worth a single dollar to him.
"O-okay."
Next, she opened the small box and saw a beautiful bracelet. The was beautiful and seemed to be made of pure gold with real crystals.
"I- I can't accept this!"
"W-why not?" Leo asked nervously.
"I can't have you spending that much money on me!" Kellian stated. Ryder couldn't lie his way out this. It looks extremely expensive. It would probably be worth a million on the market.
And the fact that a witch made it with her magic you're gonna have to take a million and times it by one hundred and that's the starting price.
"Ugh. I didn't spend a cent. It's an apology gift from Jinx." Ryder stated.
"Jinx? Tell her I don't want it. She should get her money back!" Kellian yelled handing it to Ryder.
"She didn't buy it with money...She made it with magic. That's why it looks expensive cause it is. Magical items are worth a lot." He explained handing it back.
"Then she can sell it," Kellian suggested pushing it into Ryder's hands.
"Witches only need money for ingredients. Witches that belong to people tend to need money since their owners are usually rich. I'm rich." Ryder said handing it to Kellian again.
"Oh...But–"
"I'll just throw it away so take the stupid trinket!" Ryder yelled annoyed.
"F-fine." Kellian took the bracelet and put it on.
"You didn't have to yell at her." Leo scolded.
"It's fine, I'm used to it," Kellian said mesmerized by the beauty of the bracelet although she did have a feeling something was off about it.
"See. Blueberry's fine with– Actually I don't care if you're fine with it or not."
"Blueberry? I thought you stopped calling me that." Kellian frowned.
"Why would you think that? Anyway, I have class. Bye Leo, Bye Blueberry." Ryder said then left.
"Hmph." Kellian pouted.
"Ignore him he's just a big tsundere puppy," Leo said with a bright smile leading the way to their class.
"Hehe~ That's quite a cute nickname." Kellian giggled.
"Just don't call him that to his face. Let's just say it makes him mad."
"Don't worry I won't." Kellian smiled reassuringly as Leo opened the door.
"Ummm what does it feel like every girl in this room is staring at us...? I'm going to have a heart attack..." Leo started to breathe heavily.
"Not just girls. Everyone is staring. What's with them?" Kellian asked as the walked to their seats.
All eyes followed their every movement. Then the totally low key not at all loud whispering began.
"Did you hear?"
"Yeah, that chick must be crazy!"
"I heard she beat her up so brutally that an ambulance had to come to school!"
'That's an exaggeration.' Kellian sighed. "They seem to be talking about me. Did Ryder tell you guys?"Kellian explained.
"He did. These people are so overreacting. Ryder said you barely hurt them none of it seemed to be on purpose." Leo stated.
"She's so done for!"
"Yeah, Amanda got a girl suspended for wearing the same outfit as her!"
"This chick has a death wish."
"We have to avoid her at all costs."
"We didn't even get to give her a proper omega welcome."
"She's an omega?"
"Why else would Amanda target her?"
"But she hides her ears and tail. I for sure thought she was strong."
"But she is strong! How else would she beat Amanda?!"
"What about the guys?"
"Right maybe Amanda was trying to tell her about trying to seduce the guys. And got mad!"
"That means she's a hussy!"
"You're missing the point! If she gets expelled she'll take the three strongest wolves with her! Selfish Brat."
"Poor Leo. He seems really attached to her."
The PA system played an announcement, "Ms. Heart. Please report to the principal's office."
"Looks like her time is up."
"Mhm?" Kellian was confused. She had no idea why the principal wants to see her and where to even find the office in this massive school.
While Kellian was distracted Leo got a call. After a few seconds of being on his phone Leo said, "I'm coming with you."
Leo led her to the principal's office. Kellian opened the door and entered first.
"Pfft. It's you again. You're in big trouble this time. And you've got no one to help you." The Dean of discipline teased.
"Says who?" Leo asked entering behind Kellian.
"Ahhh...it's you... I'm sorry but only the girl is–"
"Are you going to stop me?" Leo asked cutting her off.
"N-no...O-of course n-not. Please go now." she bowed allowing Leo to follow behind Kellian.
"Are you okay?" Kellian asked noticing Leo clutching his heart.
"Me? I'm fine... I just haven't stood up to a wo– I mean a person like that before... Maybe Ryder should have come with you instead." Ryder explained nervously.
"No. I'm sure you'll do a better job of accompanying me compared to that tsundere puppy."
"Right." Leo smiled awkwardly.
"Kellian opened the door and was immediately greeted by the principal.
"We've been waiting... Ms. Heart."
