Wen Qinxi's body stiffened when Qie Ranzhe walked into the living room igniting sparks of anger but it was manageable manifesting itself in his sullen mood. All this while, he was rather sad than angry but the moment the Marshal entered the room Wen Qinxi suddenly felt angry puzzling even himself.

Qie Ranzhe felt a knot in the pit of his stomach being rejected this way heightening his anxiety as his fingers painfully dug into his palms till his knuckles turned white.
