The bristling street was virtually empty,
The sun was barely up, leaving just a silhouette of the morning sky above.
In this long, cold, and solemn alley you could hear only one sound.
The noise of daring high heels,
Confident, bold, and loud without fear, she clicked against the pavement making way to her destination, not bothering about anything or anyone, even though she was certainly disturbing the peace of this quiet neighborhood.
And Voila,
She stopped.
She didn't stop because she forgot something not did she stop because she was lost.
NO!!
She stopped because she has finally reached her destination.
Her head slowly turned to her left, her blue orbs staring dead at the massive gates sprayed with gold and black paint to match the entire building it protects inside.
A distant memory flashed.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh, OMG, O M God, O my God. Iris, Rose you have gotta see this NOW!"
Her red hair bounced and her blue eyes shined as she jumped vigorously because she just couldn't hold her excitement anymore.
Two other girls about her age quickly ran to meet her in front of the door.
"What's the matter, Lily?" The one that has the same shade of eyes as her but a slightly darker shade of red hair asked her in concern.
"Oh, please, it's probably some stupid thing such as her long-time crush has finally answered her desperate plead or something" the other one with a dark shade of black hair and the same color of eyes as the other two, said with her bored look as always.
"I am not desperate!" Lily snapped back at her sister.
"Yeah, yeah" she nodded her head in fake agreement.
Lily growled about to pounce on her when Iris held her back.
"Stop it, guys! What's the matter? Why were you screaming?" She asked, obviously curious to know what had her sister so excited.
Well, it wasn't that she didn't agree with Rose. She just didn't want to start another fight which always resulted in breaking one thing or another in the house.
"Well, we just got a mail, and YOU, my sister got the job" she handed the mail over to her sister so she could read it.
"Are you serious?!" Rose finally snapped out of her boring state and started to read the mail.
"No, doesn't it looks like I'm joking?" Lily rolled her eyes and Rose glared at her.
"Well, this marks the first step to our long-awaited plan" Rose walked into the living room which was filled with different colors of sofas and recliner thanks to Lily and plopped on a red sofa.
"Yeah, Iris is finally in. It's just me and you left to complete everything we need" Lily joined Rose in the sitting room.
"I am already working on your admission, you will join in the next semester," Rose said as she casually scrolled through the channels.
"Thank you, big sis" Lily said in mock respect. Even though she is just two years older than Rose, she acted as the youngest of them all.
"I am quite nervous" Iris finally joined them in the sitting room after carefully going through the job application approval.
"I mean, it's finally happening," she said, clasping her fingers together, an old habit she hadn't gotten rid of.
"You should be, I am too but we have no time for nerves, we have gotta be more vigilant and extra careful" Rose held her sister's hand.
"So, what's going to be our team name? Any team that seeks a motive always gotta have a name, you know?" Lily said.
"Since we all have flowers name and my favorite movie is Avengers. How about Flowers Avengers?" She suggested.
A look of disapproval and disgust came from her sisters.
"How about Angel Flowers?" Iris suggested.
"No, too childish" Lily shuddered just at the thought.
Rose shook her head at the bad suggestions from her sisters.
"How about Avenging Angels?" She smiled because she could already see the approval from their faces.
She smiled lightly at the memory from two years ago.
She tucked both sides of her black hair behind each ear, giving a show to her white and blue earrings at each ear.
She pressed the necklace that rests on her slender neck as a sign of solace.
Then like a silent whisper which could barely be heard and a soft gesture which was barely be seen, she whispered,
"I am IN"
Well, that was just the prologue. I hope you liked it because there's more to come.
Let me know your thoughts, don't be a silent reader.
