For a moment, Vira was stunned after listening to Lisa's answer. She could have asked the woman further why they ended their relationship, or when they separated. However, Vira had known Lisa long enough to know that she wouldn't give her a real answer.

Usually, people who have high positions in the office can't possibly tell ordinary employees like me about such matters."
