章 56: Hana Getting Bored

Team Seven finished their training before returning to the bridge builder's home where Hana was already waiting for them as they all assured that Hori wasn't Zabuza Momochi using a transformation jutsu.

The days passed and the group was watching over Tazuna who was working on the bridge that would connect the Land of Waves with the Land of Fire making it possible to trade between both Lands easier since they wouldn't need to travel via boat any longer.

Tazuna was almost done with the bridge when Zabuza appeared with some goons and the girl who captured him last time.

Zabuza was eying Hori as he was carrying the same blade as him before saying, "Nice imitation."

"It is quite the original," says Hori in his usual cold tone before he went for his sword pointing it at Zabuza afterward.

"I have my doubts about that," says Zabuza as he points his sword at Haru and the other while saying, "Haku, deal with the children while I occupy the adults."

"Yes, Zabuza," says Haku as she disappears in a puddle of water when she notices Hori's eyes on her.

She was getting nervous since the eyes looking at her seemed to glare into her soul making her feel as if she was looking at the Abyss which was staring back at the moment.

Haru then looked away as he says, "Kakashi, you with me. Hana, look after the kids while they fight that Haku but don't interfere if not necessary. They should gather experience after all."

Hana yawned as she walked away while saying, "Fine, I really don't want to meddle too much in this fight since it is obvious that we will win if I were to join it."

"Aren't you underestimating me? I am the Demon of the Hidden Mist after all," says Zabuza thinking that Hori and Hana were looking down on him.

"We are not," says Hori in his usual tone as he points his sword down before saying, "I tell you what. How about I give you the chance to attack first without me defending myself."

Zabuza kept his poker face up while boiling on the inside as he thought that Hori was playing with him when he rushed at Hori while Kakashi prepared himself to defend himself by pulling out a kunai.

Zabuza rushes at Hori ignoring Kakashi completely as he cuts through Hori hearing something heavy hit the ground. Zabusa turned around seeing Hori's sword and severed arm on the ground while Hori's body seemed to shift as it was cut through the middle.

"You shouldn't have underestimated me," says Zabuza sounding sure of himself when he sees water drip down from Hori's severed arm while the arm on the ground slowly turns to water.

Hori's body then returned to normal as he turned to Zabuza when he says, "I think you have underestimated me."

Zabuza was confused when he saw that where he cut through Hori ice was forming as it healed him when he hears, "Let me introduce myself, I am Senju Hori, The Shinobi of Ice. You may have heard of me before."

This made many heads turn as the severed arm regrew as but was made out of ice and Hori made a motion with his hand making the blade on the floor fly into his hand.

"I will give you another chance," says Hori pointing his blade at Zabuza while sensing Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura fighting against Haku.

Everything seemed normal to Hori and Kakashi when they both heard, "Boring."

Zabuza looked over to the person who said that which was Hana lying on the ground looking like she was throwing a tantrum before he looked back at Kakashi.

He saw literally panic on Kakashi's face while Hori who didn't show any emotion the whole time began to sweat when he heard Hori say, "Not good."

"You should have left her to fight Zabuza instead of letting her watch over the children!" shouts Kakashi in a panic when Hori places his sword back on his back before his black eyes turn red showing off his Sharingan to Zabuza.

"What is going on?" asks Zabuza confused that two high-ranking Jonins from Konoha were this nervous because a woman said 'boring'.

"You will just see why my sister is mostly assigned to action-driven missions instead of monitoring missions," says Hori nervous now as he still didn't know how his sister's Devil Fruit Powers work.

He figured his own powers out and everyone else's powers out since they were all straightforward simple with the exception of Tsunade's powers since she uses a scalpel to create her space to use her powers.

But Hana is different it almost looks like an illusion to him but it isn't since the pain is definitely real as is everything else he has seen so far and he doubts that Hana even ate the Gum-Gum Fruit and not another fruit.

Hana stood up and took a deep breath before her hair turned white and her eyes turned red while laughing like a maniac which instilled fear in Kakashi and Hori as she suddenly did the unthinkable and grabbed the floor of the unfinished bridge before pulling it up creating a small wave which moved towards everyone standing on it without damaging the bridge.

Zabuza's eyes went wide as did the eyes of Haku, the children, and the gangsters on that bridge seeing a wave of stone come at them. Hori and Kakashi moved immediately as they rushed toward the children with Kakashi taking Sakura and Sasuke and Hori picking up Naruto and Haku who was right beside Naruto at the moment.

"What is going on?" asks Naruto confused as he sees an expression on his uncle's face which he never saw before fear.

"Your aunt is going crazy," says Hori sounding nervous since only one person could stop Hana, and said person was under constant watchful eyes since his last escapade.

"We have to stop her before she destroys the bridge," says Naruto seeing Hina using the ground to attack the gangsters and Zabuza while throwing the gangsters off the bridge.

"Don't worry the bridge is completely fine," says Hori as Hana stops waving the ground and throwing the gangsters off of the bridge before it returns to its original state while Hana drops to the ground laughing her ass off.

"This is so much fun," says Hana while lying on the ground when she sees Zabuza approaching her.

"Get away, creep," says Hana as she sees Zabuza's sword approaching her when she touches it turning the sword to rubber as it bends and flexes in impossible ways right before everyone's eyes.

"How is that-," says Zabuza when he suddenly feels his body bend and flex in an impossible way as reality seems to bend under his opponent's powers.

He moves his hand before his body and shouts "Release!" thinking that he is trapped in a Genjutsu not knowing that it was Hana just breaking logic in front of everyone's eyes.

"How do we stop her?" asks Naruto nervously since he never has seen Hana like that before.

"We can't, even I with my Haki can't stop her. The only ones who could are right now in Konoha and the Land of Wind. I can only stall here at best with Kakashi's help," says Hori when he notices that he is carrying an enemy all along with him.

"You must be Zabuza's accomplice? I would suggest that you stop your foolishness and surrender while I am still reasonable since in a moment I will have to go all out to stop my sister from killing your Master," says Hori as ice formed on his cheeks right under his eyes.

"I surrender," says Haku not wanting to be thrown to the wolf with the name of Hana after seeing Zabuza struggling against her.

"Good," says Hori as he throws Naruto and Haku to a safe place while the ice on Hori turns black before landing on the bridge again.

He grabbed Zabuza before throwing him off the bridge while saying, "You are in my way."

Hori approaches Hana who is bending reality to her liking with her Fruit's Powers as everything seems to have turned into a cartoon with her touch.

"You have to stop, Hana," says Hori seriously as the ground around him froze in the same black ice that Naruto saw before being thrown away.

"What if I don't want to," says Hana threatening Hori who looked at Hana with a sad expression.

Hana awakened this form after they had lost Yahiko and she wasn't the only one with Yone awakening his Dark-Dark Fruit's Powers further and Hina her Rumble-Rumble Fruit's Powers.

Hori also has a new form but never used it before against his family members since it could kill them by accident.

"Hana, I don't want to hurt you," says Hori seriously as his body begins to freeze the air around them as they now could see their breath when they breathe out.

"It is getting cold," says Hana while Kakashi was getting only more nervous that he already was as he sees the sibling facing off.

"Why are they fighting against each other?" asks Sakura thinking that it was ridiculous that two ninjas of the same village would fight each other.

"For now they are only staring at each other," says Kakashi nervous when suddenly the wind picks up and both Hori and Hana disappeared for the visible eye for a moment.

Sakura was confused as Hori and Hana seemed to only have changed their spot while showing their backs at each other. Naruto and Sasuke seemed to have only seen the same as Sakura while Kakashi saw everything with his Sharingan.

Hori created at lightning speed icicles which tried to pin Hana down who evaded by bending her body in unnatural ways before breaking them and throwing them at Hori who cut through them not wanting to get hit by them since he didn't know if they were made out of ice or still of rubber because of Hana's touch.

Hana then continued by throwing her fists at Hori at rapid speed while covering them in Armament Haki while Hori covered his blade in Armament Haki and blocked Hana's fists attacks for now.

It was a stalemate or so it seemed in the eyes of the inexperienced Genins that were watching the fight between siblings but Kakashi as well as Haku were seeing the truth which was Hori being pushed back little by little.

Hori saw that he wouldn't be able to hold on any longer and decided to use his trump card as he put one hand before his chest and says, "Don't hold this against me, Hana."

He made hand seals in rapid succession before taking a deep breath when he breath out a giant water dragon was released which went for Hana who easily crushed said dragon making water splash all over her when Hori says, "Gear 4: Absolute Zero!"

Everything around Hori turned to ice which spread over the whole bridge and the water underneath them. The ice covered everything even Hana who was covered in water making her freeze in place making Hori sigh in relief.

Kakashi wanted to approach but the moment he tried his instinct told him to not try it while Hori's body was slowly turning to true ice mimicking the Ice which was made by the temperature falling to the Absolute Zero.

Hori turned to Kakashi and shouts, "Take the kids away. This is only holding her back for a moment. I hope that she will return to her usual self once she frees herself."

Kakashi nods seeing the whole area around them being frozen because of Hori who was slowly gaining color again when he chains Zabuza and Haku together. He felt bad for Haku since she already surrendered but he was following right now the pattern 'Better safe than sorry'.

He saw the less fortunate people frozen to death in the water if they hadn't died from the fall before when Hana pushed them off the bridge.

Tazuna was at least still alive after all this chaos but he would rather not want to see Hori or Hana ever again if he could avoid it going by his face.
