章 53: Returning to Konoha

Yone arrived home using Hiraishin to find the house surrounded by the Anbu when he goes downstairs and he finds Tsunade sitting at their dinner table with Sakira on her lap painting a picture while Kushina was beside her.

"Are you now threatening your mother as well," says Yone a bit angry when Kushina glared at him.

"I am trying to do the best for the village," says Kushina back at her father who glared at her as well.

"I am doing the same just in the way I know," says Yone since he was doing everything for the best of Konoha and his family.

"If I really were to work against this village I wouldn't have participated in the Second Shinobi War nor would I have become a teacher for the future generations so they wouldn't commit the same mistakes I did," says Yone to his daughter when Sakira suddenly shaped in fear making Tsunade go between both.

"That is enough. I had it with you two fighting over something that doesn't need to be questioned about!" shouts Tsunade taking their attention as Kushina as well as Yone could see the anger on Tsunade's face.

"You," says Tsunade pointing at Kushina before saying, "Your father has done more for the village than Minato and everyone else of the future generation combined for this village. So never assume that your father doesn't have the best intention for the village when he does something."

Kushina couldn't say anything against Tsunade after what Tsunade just said making her look down for trying to cage her father. Yone felt like he won when Tsunade turned to him.

"And you," says Tsunade as her rant wasn't over yet before she says, "You shouldn't leave the village without saying anything. I was worried sick and so were the children since they thought you wanted to get revenge for the murder of Yahiko."

"If I really wanted to get revenge I would have had it," says Yone seriously before sighing and saying, "I went out to get some answers and I received them. I won't leave the village for a while now."

"You know who killed Yahiko?" asks Kushina curious as Yone shakes his head.

"I don't know who killed him but I can say for sure that it wasn't Madara Uchiha since that Devil is dead," says Yone trying to sound calm when Kushina looked at him confused while Tsunade was staring holes into him.

"You didn't," says Tsunade knowing a Jutsu that can bring back the dead for a short time.

"I did," says Yone confirming it when Tsunade handed Sakira over to Kushina in anger.

"You two need to leave now. I need to talk to my husband, your father, about what he did the last few hours," says Tsunade holding her anger back since Kushina and Sakira are present.

"But-" says Kushina not done yet wanting to know what her father did when Tsunade interrupts her.

"Now," says Tsunade in a menacing tone making Kushina leave not wanting to get involved any longer after seeing Tsunade's face.

Tsunade turned to Yone once Kushina and Sakira were gone and she asks, "You used the Impure World Resurrection Jutsu, but how? I believe that you need some of his remains and there shouldn't be anything left of him."

"I have met him before, the real Madara," says Yone calmly sitting down while gesturing to Tsunade to do the same.

"I have nothing to hide from you. I met him back when I went to get the Three-Tail. He wanted to get it as well it seemed but I was faster and he was old. I stole some of his hair back then and kept it sealed away like that stumble that I once found in my youth.

It was quite easy to revive him and the others and the unfortunate sacrifices were just husks or so they seemed since they didn't even defend themselves even after I took them from their cocoons. I have brought one of them with me so you can dissect it," says Yone while handing over the scroll in which he had the body stored in.

"Who were the others?" asks Tsunade while taking the scroll while Yone knew that this would become a discussion because of the others.

"They were our grandparents and granduncle," says Yone which made Tsunade break the dinner table with her fist before she made a palm that was covered in blue Chakra and moved it towards Yone's throat in her anger.

"You disturbed the rest of our family!" shouts Tsunade when she sees Yone's expression which didn't show any guilt at all.

"It wasn't me but Orochimaru. I found our grandfather's and granduncle's bodies on a dissection table in his laboratory when I expulsed from Konoha because of his action of experimenting on his students and robbing the graves of our family. Our grandmother's hair I took before we gave her the rites so she could pass on to the Otherworld," explains Yone to Tsunade who could see that Yone wasn't lying to her.

"What did granduncle say he mustn't have been happy about it," says Tsunade knowing how Tobirama had something against Yone the whole time.

"He wasn't happy but we got over it and grandfather and grandma are happy that we are together though grandma was angry that it took us after her death to get together. But got over it quickly when she saw a picture of Hanzo and Mito," says Yone making Tsunade smile before she became serious again.

"Still what do we do now? Once Minato returns he would want to know what happened and where you went. What are we going to do?" asks Tsunade a bit worried since they couldn't just make their son-in-law and a cousin of theirs disappear out of nowhere.

"I will deal with it when the time comes for now let me return to work. I still need to assign the students that passed the last exam to their new teams and Team Leaders. I just hope Kakashi is ready for this burden," says Yone a bit nervous while he walks to Tsunade and kisses her before kissing her again a bit longer while passing his hands over her body.

"Are you making sure that everything is in its place?" asks Tsunade a bit excited with a big grin on her face.

"I don't need to since I know that my wife is quite fit but kissing you makes me want to touch you and do things to you which we didn't do for some time now," says Yone with the same grin on his face before he let go of Tsunade or he would lose himself and take her upstairs and both of them needed to get to work now.

"We will continue later," says Yone as he let go of Tsunade.

"Is that a promise?" asks Tsunade a bit excited as Yone only chuckles.

"Of course, but how about we go back to the old days and you put on a fundoshi," says Yone to Tsunade who turned liked the idea.

"Not bad, I like the idea, it will make us seem twenty years younger," says Tsunade since fundoshis aren't in trend for a long time now.

"Good I will see you later then," says Yone giving Tsunade a small kiss before leaving the house.

Once outside he is surrounded by the Anbu Unit that surrounded the house before Yone disappears again appearing in his office in the academy. He begins to write down the Teams starting with Team 4 to Team 9 since Team 10 was still in existence because of Might Guy.

'Now they only need to graduate,' thinks Yone before placing the document away.

Soon the Anbu Team arrived at his office and Yone says, "You all are quite late. In the days of my granduncle, you wouldn't have made it as a Jonin since you would be plastering the earth with your corpses. Now then, I am done here. Let us return to my home but before that."

Yone stood up and walked toward one of the walls before opening a secret door. He entered the room and got some of the items stored inside it out and closed it behind him.

"Now we can leave," says Yone as he leaves with the Anbu Team who knew that they couldn't do anything to Yone except he wanted it since he could escape from them easily as demonstrated before.

They soon arrived at the Sarutobi compound and Yone went in alone since Minato wasn't there he needed to meet with Hiruzen.

"What did you do this time?" asks Hiruzen smoking from his pipe as he puts the newspaper away.

"They think that I went to investigate the death of Yahiko myself but I didn't. I had other things to do and if you don't believe me ask your student since she must be dissecting the thing I brought back from the place I went to," says Yone informing Hiruzen about his recent move while leaving the Impure World Resurrection Jutsu out.

"I am really sorry about what happened to Yahiko but you know that he isn't a Konoha Shinobi any longer," says Hiruzen knowing the pain Yone is going through since he lost one of his sons in the Third Shinobi War.

"I know that is why I didn't go there and left it in Minato's hands but he seems to mistrust me since he found out who I was in the past," says Yone not liking the situation he and his son-in-law are in at the moment.

"You were the big bad wolf that terrorized and ended a war single-handedly and kept it from your family. It is quite normal that he mistrusts you since you kept it from him for how long exactly?" asks Hiruzen wanting to hear the answer from Yone.

"More than half of his life," says Yone answering Hiruzen who trusted Yone with all of the fiber of his body.

"You and I know each other far longer and I know your dark past not like Minato who found out on the Fifth Birthday of the Hyuga Princess. Those things take time even more so for people that are in high-ranking positions such as Minato," says Hiruzen trying to explain why Minato was mistrusting him.

"It doesn't help that my daughter is the same," says Yone as Hiruzen sighs.

"At least they still talk to you. I will order the Anbu to retreat and leave you and your family alone again. I still hold some power after all," says Hiruzen as he knew that Yone always wants the best for the village even if he shows it in a different way than most do.

He and Yone come from a time in which surviving was the most important thing but those things changed over time with Minato now in charge as he is trying to maintain a neutral position with all Hidden Villages.

Minato can't have Yone and the other old ninjas that only know war running around recklessly since it could lead to another war. In Hiruzen's mind, it was naive to think that holding each other's hand will solve everything like Minato is thinking but it was a good start to true peace. But if they keep the younger generation too safe they would grow weaker and he didn't like that at all which is why he has Yone as the Director of the Academy so the next generation doesn't grow weak under Minato's leadership.

"Anyway, I heard you are done with your work. How about some Shoji before returning home?" asks Hiruzen as the newspaper turns into a board with pieces on it and Yone grins at the old man.

"Then begin old man I can still kill some time before my wife returns home," says Yone waiting for Hiruzen to make the first move.
