Ray stood there in anticipation as the little baby was brought to him. He was so certain that the baby was his that he didn't even feel the urging need to make sure that he is anymore.
As the nurse brought his son to him his hands trembled and he looked back at Leila who was standing aside, "What if I drop him?" He asked anxiously
"You won't, don't worry, it's very hard to drop him when he's this small and calm," She said reassuringly
"Then what if I hurt him or squeeze him too much?" He retorted as holding the baby started to seem like a not-so-good idea after all...
"Here, let me show you," Leila said with a patient sigh as she took the baby from the smiling nurse and came close to him, " Sit down. You'll feel a lot safer this way." She said and she sat beside him the baby still sleeping in her arms.
