Writing Quality 5 stars- So far I haven't found any problems regarding grammar.Story Development 3 stars- I don't know why, I just find it annoying. Review after 413 chapters.I know the author tries to make the story interesting by creating new issues around the mc. But seriously this is getting boring. Everything in the world that could be gone wrong seems to affect the mc. I mean hes drowning in handicaps. Before he solves one problem another bigger one comes up. Its feels exhausting just to read. Give the guy a break.
Completed 35 chapters and gave up not worth reading really boring I say after a lot of time i read this type of trash book in start you will see out of everyone mc has lowest aptitude and it really irks to read for me he just look like looser i dont know what authors thoughts were
Author it's really frustrating to see emery being captured like a 5 year kid and by the story is going I can say he will really save that Eshoo kid for free Pls don't make him more dumb
This is a very good book! Unfortunately if you’re like me and dislike MCs who are indecisive, spends majority of their time reacting to situations that occur, or nieve to the point that it gets tiresome, then this book is not for you. Please don’t waste your time with if you’re going to get annoyed by the MCs behavior; believe me when I say, I had to stop reading this book because of the MCs actions around chapter 500-600. At this point, I have no faith that this book would continue to entertain me. I loved everything else! The characters, the new take on hysterical figures. But, the MC, 😤😮💨 I just can’t anymore. Buddy isn’t worth it any more. Far to indecisive! Far to naive! No real character development (change in social skills, better communication skills, decisiveness, being able to control his environment besides just reacting to new developments!) Maybe I’ll pick the book back up and read another 100 chapters. But if nothing changes, I’ll most likely drop it till I forget majority of what I’ve read.
Just incredible. A really nice and inventive take on Earth mythological and historical figures.
don't know if this review counts 😅 because the book so famous.well, i love this one for its details, i can imagine how the scene looks like. althought at first were slow pace, but i definitely enjoy it.how to see the MC grow, from zero to hero.the system also weren't confusing me. i love it was put not all the chapter.
This is a history fan-fiction. Unfortunately it’s a very casual fan-fiction that contains many historical inaccuracies. It takes popular historical characters such as Cleopatra, Julius Cesar, and Merlin among others and brings them together in their childhood years. It’s a very lighthearted story. All these characters were born in different ages, but the story assumes they were alive at the same time and are all similar ages. I dropped after around 200 chapters since the character development was quite dull. If the characters were original I felt the story could be better.
i REALLY loved this book very much. Characters, story development, relationships, historic references.But even this author get sickness of many big popular writers and started dragging story development artificially making everyone dropping progress out of blue, hating each other sometimes or losing their character. So i've temporary dropped the reading on 1300 .i understand the conception of money, everyone needs to eat, ESPECIALLY family heads. But as a reader it makes me sad.If the story will end before reaching 2000 I'll definitely read it until the end. If before 2500: mb will give it a chance (depends on ending, overall reviews and some subjective criterias). If it will be dragged like some eastern cultivation I just live it as good distant memory
still remember back in the early chapters this story has a harem tag. it was removed though. I dislike the MC personality but the author really did well making my emotions go up and down. i enjoyed emery's journey. i feel frustrated sometimes when he makes bad decisions(Most of the time). can't say it is not bad but i just hope the author will partner emery with at least 3 FL (Klea, Morgan and between The snake beast or Gwen)
I love this book all the character development was amazing though there is only one big thorn that might hurt later but author you’re not thinking of putting Klea with Julian right??? RIGHT?? Please don’t it’s enough suffering with Silva please
I am truly captivated by this book I am a great fan of both fantasy and science fiction. This novel definitely fits the bill with the sorcery and action. The added bonus of adapting this novel with history is excellent I find myself trying to remember stories of each of the characters in history as their stories develop separately and look forward to see how you work their individual stories into the whole of the novel. It is just difficult waiting for the release of the chapters as I am truly enjoying reading this story daily.

I just wanted to start by saying this was a good novel and I will probably pick this up later when it gets closer to being finished just a little tired at the moment. I don't think its bad novel you know Emery the MC was able to learn magic at a academy and slowly got stronger. Really though what bothered me the most is their wasn't really a defining thing that set aside Emery from everyone else, 700 chapters in for me and Khalos the MC's like I guess special thing he gained hasn't really been developed at all and is a big bummer and what hurt a little also was when Klea was able to earn the ice apitude I mean which is nice but like in the beginning of the story the only thing that set aside Emergy from everyone else was his 4 affinities but now Klea learned a 4th and probably Julian will later down the line learn the metal one. The character development is definitely great reading about Klea's improvement, I just sometimes feel like Emergy himself is just growing very slowly.
So I have read up to chapter 1474 and this is my review so far. I like the story a lot but I do think it stalls a lot…spoiler warning…like right now. I do think there are also times the author drags things on for far to long. Now our MC does make a lot of stupid decisions and YES HE IS A SIMP. Ultimately it’s a good story but if you don’t have the patience then this will be a hard book to read examples like a single battle will take over almost hundred chapter that’s just a little to long for my liking but it’s whatever.
I have read every single chapter available the book is without a doubt a great read. my only complaint is slow chapter release although I understand writing may be hard I've noticed the author writes several different books at the same time which I feel slows down production for each individual book. I've had to take several months breaks at a time just so there are some chapters for me to read.

While the world building is fantastic and the overall story concept and development is quite good the point where this book falls flat is the characters. MC has the spine of a wet noodle, apologizing for being assaulted at times for no reason. He also has the emotional maturity and makes decisions like he is a newborn, not a teenager
It is a hidden gem and underdog of webnovel. Story is very interesting but the pace of story progression is low in my opinion. But I must say give it a try.
To put it simply, this book should be on your reading list. I've been reading EGM since chapter 100 and I can say that it's been difficult to take any breaks as the story is solid and constantly drags you back with a new twist or fight. There is very little to no plot armor that I've seen throughout the 1700 chapters which is a difficult feat. The history and mythos packed in the book is also such a nice touch that grounds the book with some level of realism.
