Riya patiently waited for Serene to speak up about the outcome. But neither Roy said anything nor Serene said anything for the next thirty seconds.

Riya got alarmed again. To her knowledge she didn't see Serene's silence as a shock or baffled by such information, but, all she felt was that the news wasn't worthy of her. And Serene would leave any second now because she didn't profit from her.

Having that thought, Riya was feared as she added. "There's more."

Unlike what Riya had predicted, Serene was very shocked. The news was very much worthy to her. Knowing that someone may try to hurt her brother in future is really important to her. However in the middle of her thought Riya came to add more to her surprises.
