Lucas was steaming as he walked out of the house and made his way to Vinay's house. He didn't want to leave her with him but he also couldn't stay there any longer, not while they were giving each other those lovey-dovey looks. After what happened between them last night, he thought he had her but it turns out that he doesn't. He wanted to have her... more than anything in his fucking life. He had to have her.

He stopped in his tracks and glanced back at the house, wanting to go back in before realizing why he was out here in the first place. He had to get a damn phone. He faced forward and took in the destroyed cars that were in driveways and the broken floor to ceiling windows of different houses. Even Imani's car in his driveway and Lola's car in the next one hadn't been spared during the fighting and they looked like someone with supernatural strength took a metal sledgehammer to them.
