The gigantic human visage in the sky dissipated with a loud boom, and a round, golden, ball-like creature took its place.

It had a nose, eyes, ears, and a mouth, as well as a pair of miniature devil wings and a long devil tail. The only thing missing was arms and legs.

…A little devil?

"You're…"

Stupefied, Meng Lei stared at the peculiar round lifeform that had suddenly appeared, a puzzled look coming over his features.

"I'm Dodola, the Tower of Time's guardian spirit!" The round lifeform introduced itself with a smile. "You can call me Lord Dodola!"

"…Lord Dodola?"

Meng Lei was rendered somewhat speechless. "You may be the tower's guardian spirit, but I'm its new master. By right, shouldn't you be calling me Master instead?"
