章 132: It's My Turn

Sarah's POV:

After we snuck into Bella's apartment, I had to check in her bedroom while Elma checked the study.

How could she not have any maids or security guards? Wasn't she wealthy enough, or what?

I pulled the drawers but nothing, checked her wardrobe and every other place in the bedroom, then I moved to the sitting room but nothing.

"Elma." I hurried and joined Elma in the study; she was also busy searching.

"Did you find something?" I asked, and she pointed the gun towards me, and I flinched. "It's not loaded; don't be scared."

"How do you know it's not loaded? Have you used one before?"

"I am not a murderer." She kept it in her bag and walked out of the study after she had organized everything.

"Let's go"

"Wait, I didn't find the document," I reminded her; she suddenly forgot the main reason I followed her here.

"Oh, let's keep looking then."
