Sarah's POV:

I arrived at the hospital after dropping Amber and my things off. I still had my face mask on because I didn't want anyone to notice me.

I was about to get into the elevator when I spotted Jacob. "Hey." I ran towards him. "Where is she?"

"It was a minor accident, so don't worry," he said, and I sighed in relief, but I still felt bad. "Anthony went in search of you; the maids said you ran away."

"Oh" 

"Were you about to leave?" He asked, and I stared down nervously. The plan was to go away to some place where no one would ever find me, but my parents were jailed, and Elma got involved in an accident.

"I have to."

"You don't have to do anything, Sarah; running away makes you guilty."

"I am guilty." My voice quivered as I tried to suppress my tears.

"I am here, Sarah; you don't have to run."
