章 201: The King and his beast - Part 1

Alastair and Samantha watched the swans in the lake as they sat beside each other, relishing in each other's presence. Since the time Samantha had entered the castle, this place had become their favorite spot for various reasons. 

While Samantha was reminiscing her time with her Queen with her eyes fixed on the lake, Alastair just focused all his attention on her, observing her every expression, every feature with a smile. He was yet to receive a response from her for his previous question. But he did not urge her to answer him immediately, allowing her some time to sort her thoughts.

"Alastair, Queen Charmaine told me that the only two people I can trust here are you and Saorsa." Samantha started with a frown on her face.
