Just like Samantha, Alastair too had been not able to forget and perceive whatever had transpired at the library. It was utterly bewildering and impossible to believe. 'How did Samantha know where I was?' He wondered, his brows furrowing in turmoil. 'And why did her gloves burn on my touch while nothing happened to her dress? Was it my doing, or was it her power that came to life?' Numerous questions arose in his mind, and just like the girl, he too did not have answers to them.

Alastair was walking in the garden, the night breeze ruffling his hair, making it fall on his forehead.  He started at the crescent moon, wondering what Samantha would be doing right now. A smile settled on his lips as soon as the girl's face flashed in his mind. Her green, curious yet wary eyes, her blond hair, and her small face, ignited a yearning in him. A feeling so unknown and bizarre emerged in his heart, increasing his desire for her.
