章 153: Can I trust someone?

  " Would you mind if I join you?" she asked almost as if requesting him.

" Yeah." He said hiding his smile.

She walked along with him without saying anything else. After a walking a few steps around the neighborhood Samantha finally started " What's on your mind?" 

" Umm…just thinking about the case." He lied.

Was he hiding something again? She asked herself. Samantha didn't ask again but just stared at him when he refused to look at her while talking. He was unusually silent today and that made her doubt him even more. Even in the morning when she passed by, he was in his own world. Only when she called him he could snap back to really.She started to think of something else to talk about and not try to doubt him anymore.

" What are you having for dinner tonight?"

" I don't know yet." He answered reluctantly.
