章 18: Feeling uninterested today
I woke up and saw myself sleeping at the same spot. But I felt a presence next to me.
I looked up and saw Taehyung. I was shocked.
'What is he doing here? Why did he come here?' I thought to myself and moved. He woke up by my move.

Taehyung POV - Last night
I woke up and it was almost 1:30 in the morning. I looked around and Y/n was nowhere to be found.
I got up and went out. I saw her seated below our room's window. There was just a little distance between the entrance and the window. She was crying.
'Did she not like coming here? Did someone tell anything to her?' My mind were filled with a lot of questions.
Seeing her cry, I felt hurt. She was talking with her mother. As it was silent, I could hear what they were speaking over the phone. I really didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I couldn't see her crying.
I heard a male's voice. A familiar one though.
I heard the word daughter. Then I came to a conclusion it was her dad. I silently listened to everything.
She cried more and talked with her mother and the call ended. She looked up at the sky and I know she really misses her father.
Her mother said I was like her dad. Maybe, there's something I could do to make her feel she's around her father.
She soon fell asleep. I slowly got up and looked at her.
I sat beside her and placed her head on my chest and embraced her, so she wouldn't fall. I looked up and slowly slept.
---Present---
Y/n's POV
"You woke up." He asked. I was confused as to what was happening.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Nothing. I was just sleeping." He said.
"I'm not blind." I said.
"You see, we both are together." He whispered. I totally forgot that. But only his father knows it. I didn't want to tell him.
"Ok. Get up." I said and helped him get up.
"Get ready. I'll take you to the town. There are a lot of my friends and you'll get along with them all."
"To meet dog, cat, giraffee, bear, croc, and any other animal left? Or did I miss any?" I asked as I remembered how I met his first friend. Named, Tiger.
"Sorry. I'll just go get ready." I said and went and refreshed.
As I came out, Eon Jin was waiting for me.
"Eon, what is it?" I asked.
"Unnie, will you come with me and Jeong Gyu to the park. There are a lot of things there." she asked.
"I'm sorry Eon, but Taehyung planned on taking me to meet his friends." Her face hung down. I felt sad.
"How about we'll make it tomorrow. I'll keep my day clear for you guys, ok?" I asked waiting for a response.
"Ok unnie." She said and hugged me.
"You're the best unnie. His ex never said things like this. She always wanted Tae oppa to herself." She said.
'I know that very well. Like she wanted Tae, she wanted to get rid of me.'
"Unnie, what are you thinking?" She asked.
"Nothing. Just thinking how to convince Tae."
"Unnie, don't worry about that. I can do that." She said. I smiled and she left.
I wore a comfy and casual dress, with a cap.
"Let's go." I said as I came out of my room and Tae was waiting outside.
He held my hands and shouted.
"Eomma, I and Y/n are going out. We won't come for lunch. Don't wait for us."
"Is this how you tell your mom when you go out?" I asked.
"Sometimes she'll be in the farm or she'll be at home. If she doesn't hear it, Eon or Jeong will say it."
"Ok. Are we going anywhere else tomorrow?" I asked.
"I'm not sure. Why?"
"I have plans with your siblings." I said.
"What? With my siblings? What is that plan of your?" He asked.
"Something between your siblings and me. Nothing I can share. If you want, ask them."
"Now, where are we going?" I asked.
"I said right, the town." He said.
"I know the town. But where in the town?" I asked.
"You'll see." He said and he started running. I had no option but run.
He suddenly stopped.
"Here we are." He said.
I looked around it was the same but there were a lot of shops.
"Where's your so called "town"?" I asked.
"Here it is." He said and showed me a restaurant. The restaurants name was Town.
"Ahjumma, two plates." he shouted and went in. I sat down with him.
"You see, I don't eat breakfast." I said.
"It's ok. I'll have it then." He said and smiled.
"Hey Tae. How are you doing?" A guy approached us.
"Hyung. I'm doing great. How about you?"
"I'm also doing great. How are things going in Seoul?"
"Everything's wonderful. Hyung meet Lee Y/n. Y/n, this is Eun Sang hyung. We've been together from the time I came here. This is my favourite restaurant." He said.
"Nice to meet you Y/n."
"Me too." I said and we shook hands.
'Why can't I be like him? He's everyone's favourite guy in this entire place. But back at my hometown, everyone look at me like I'm a devil. Here, he's known by everyone in a good way. But I'm known by something I didn't even do and in something I didn't have any relation with.'
The food was served and he ate it within seconds.
"Ara loves it." He said.
The mention of her name pained my heart even more than ever.
Am I falling for Taehyung? Do I like him?
He is so good and amazing in every way. He takes good care of me. It's only been a month or two but I feel like I've already been with him. He's very sweet and kind.
"Y/n, what are you thinking?" He asked. I shook my head and drank some water.
He grabbed my hand and we walked.
"Are you really ok? You seem off, since you came here? Do you wanna go back to Seoul?" He asked worried.
"No. I like it here. It'sreally nice to get with nature." I said and walked.
We walked and got stopped by someone. A group of girls and boys stood in front of us.
"Hey, look here. New girl in town. How come I did not notice this in before hand?" A girl said.
"Just mind your business." Taehyung said.
"W-who are they?" I asked out of curiosity.
"I'll tell you. He was part of our gang, but I don't know what was the reason, he left us." A guy said.
"Because what you did was wrong and I didn't wanna be a part of it." Taehyung said to the guy.
"Looks like, someone's brave enough." The girl said.
"So you are not that brave?" I asked her sarcastiacally.
"Hey missy, you have nothing to do with this. Just mind your own business."
"The same goes to you. Mind your own business. This has got nothing to do with you." I said.
"Look at this. The new girl has got so much guts to talk face-to-face."
"*scoffs* You don't have that much guts?" I asked her.
She became angry and lifted her hand up. But I was too fast. I punched her on the stomach. And there she was, on the ground.
"Y-y/n." Taehyung was shocked.
"By the way, I'm Y/n. And you are?" I asked her.
"She's Lisa. Hea dof our group. She's one of the coolest perso ever." A girl said in that group. I couldn't control and burst out laughing.
That girl, I don't know, but maybe didn't realise what was going on and said her entire biography.
Taehyung started laughing with me.
"This really cool? Such a nice group you have." I said and we walked away laughing.
"Wah, Y/n. I never really knew you were this tough."
"Remember how our first meet went?" I reminded him and we laughed.
"But really, that was great. I'm pretty sure they won't even turn this side ever." He said and walked laughing like idiots.
He stopped at a point, near a pond.
"I spent my free time here." He said and threw a stone on the pond.
I didn't say anything and just threw a stone on the pond.
"I wanna go home." I said.
"Wae?" He asked.
"I don't know. Maybe I'm not in the mood for doing anything more." I said.
"Y/n, is anything wrong with you? You've been off mood for past two days." He said.
"I'm totally fine." I said.
"You can talk to me, no matter who it is about. Even if it's about me." He said.
"There's really nothing. I'm just tired, I guess."
He walked and I followed him. He seemed mad at me.
"I'm sorry." I said feeling guilty.
"Hey, its ok." He said and held my hand and walked. I smiled and walked with him.
We were walking and I walked by the road.
There was a puddle of water by the side.
As we were walking, a car drove by the puddle of water. And the water splashed on me.
I was drenched with the puddle water. But it was not over. Another car passed by that way.
And it was all over me again.
"HEY! ARE YOU BLIND??" Taehyung shouted at the car guys.
"Tae, it's ok." I said.
"Here." He wrapped his jacket around me.
"Thanks." I said.
A car stopped by the side. It was the same car as the car that splashed water on me.
"Hey, you were the one standing here. Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you." Lisa said and started laughing with her gang.
"ok, bye. Next time, see to it that you walk by the puddle so its easy for us to splash water on you." She said.
"Won't there be another time we get to meet? I'll have my turn then and you'll never even return back."
"Let's see who's staying and who's running." She said and they left.
"Y/n, did you just challenge them?" Taehyung asked.
"What else do you think I did?" I asked and walked. He followed.
"They are not how you think."
"Tae, come on. I can manage it. Now let's head home." We headed home.
We reached soon and I entered.
"Tae, you're home? You said you wouldn't come for lunch." His mother said.
"Eomma, Y/n got drenched in water, so we had to come back."
"Ok, I'll make something for you guys to eat." His mother said.
"It's ok eomma. I had some food. You have to make for Y/n. She didn't eat anything." He said.
"No auntie. It's fine. I'm not that hungry. I'll take a shower." I said and went and washed up myself.
I came back and changed and headed out.
I went out and found them working in the farm. Taehyung approached me.
"Eon kept some kimchi fried rice at the kitchen. You better eat." He said.
"I'm not hungry. I'll eat later." I said and walked but he pulled me suddenly. Holding my arm tight, not letting go of me.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"What is wrong with you? You're not interested in anything. You didn't eat anything. And we returned half way. What is going on?" he whispered harsh.
"Why does it matter to you? It's my wish. If I want I'll eat, if I don't I won't. You can't decide it." I said harsh in a low voice and shook my hand off his grip and walked away.
As I walked, my head started aching. My body was getting weak. I started dragging my legs as I couldn't lift them.
Slowly everything turned black.
