章 11: She accepted!
Y/n and Taehyung got uo and she held his hand and ran.
She ran wherever her legs took her. Taehyung didn't say anything and just followed her.
She stopped in a place.
"This is the place." She said and walked in.
She went to a tree and looked at it.
"You see this here." She asked Taehyung.
"I and my father carved our names here. That day, they were about to cut down the tree. Me and my father carved our names and stood in front of the tree. My dad then said,"If you cut down the tree, you are killing two lives. And you are killing the place." And then I said a strong yes, as I was a small kid still. We held hands together and covered the tree. The others also joined us." As she said, a tear fell, but she wiped it.
"Here she is." They heard a voice. Taehyung turned but Y/n didn't cause she knew who it would be.
"I thought she ran away cause her father was dead and she barely had a family." Eun-ae said.
They were laughing.
"How many times should I tell not to involve in this. You think you have a great family?" She asked that Byeol.
They both were Y/n's highschool friends but later they hated her. She did nothing but they thought they embarrassed her in front of the school. They hated her since then.
"Your mom ran away with someone and what about your dad. You talk as if he is still alive. He is also dead right. You don't even know where your mom is and I've never even seen you visit your father's burial. Only if some guy comes, you make him emotional by saying these just to get him. I've never seen anyone like this in my life. And this is why even Jungkook left you guys. Jungkook, himself, couldn't tolerate you guys, then who else will? Just get lost."
"Why do you care? Is she your mother? Your mother itself is sitting there and crying about loosing both her husband. Your mom couldn't keep one only, and her second also left." Byeol said.
Y/n became angry. She held her neck and was choking her.
"How dare you say something like that about my mother?" Her grip was getting tight on her neck.
"Y/n, leave it." Taehyung said. She didn't listen at first.
"Y/n, leave it or else it'll become a big problem." He said holding her hand. She left her.
"Get lost!" She said in an angry tone.
She just flopped down on the ground. Tears were still flowing.
She got up and ran somewhere.
"Y/n!" Taehyung called her and chased her.

She was on the road and there was a car coming that way.
"Y/N!!" Taehyung shouted. He ran towards her and he covered himself on her and took her the other side.
They both fell down. Taehyung got up and looked at Y/n.
"Y/n? Are you ok?" He asked. She sat up still crying.
"Y/n are you out of your mind? Why would you do that?" He asked raisng his voice.
"Why did you save me? You could've just let me go." She also raised her voice.
"Everyday is bullshit. Nothing great has ever happened in my life. Why can't I just live a normal life?"
"Y/n, think positive." He said.
"For how many days? What is the use of living when I can't do what I want or like? What more can I do now? there's still more. I need a life partner and I don't know whether I'll get one. Or am I gonna end up alone? I have to think a thousand times before doing anything, thinking what my mother will say and what others say. I have always lived my life for my mom more than myslef, and I don't know even if I can change. If I can be myself and live for me. I really hate my life." She said and cried more.
Taehyung didn't know what to tell. He wwas silent and blank.
'She has gone through a lot. But I couldn't do anything to help her. I wish I could've been there with her to solve her problems. I really feel sad for her.' He thought.
Y/n just sat there.
"Please leave me alone for sometime." She said in between her cries. He didn't say anything and left but looked at her while walking.
Y/n got up and walked by the side-walk.

*at Paxston's house
"Eomma, about Y/n and me..."
"yes." His mother listened eagerly.
"Eomma, I like someone else." He said and called Laura inside.
"This is Laura. We both like each other." He said.
"What?" His mother was in shock.
"Do you really like him?" She asked Laura. She nodded her head.
"Wow! That is such an amazing thing." His mother said. They both were shocked and confused.
"Eomma." He said.
"Yeah. Who would want to marry that father-less, photographer, who will die soon?" His mother said.
"Eomma, she is not father-less and stop saying things about her. She's really good. She's not like what you think." He said.
"Why do you care about her? Anyways, I'm happy that you love someone." She said.
"Eomma, we will get going now." He held Laura's hand and stormed out.

*at Mark's house
"Eomma, why do you always slap noona?" He asked.
"Wait here. I'll go get medicine from the neighbour." Mark said and went.
"Auntie." Jungkook said and kneeled down.
"She's your daughter. Trust her. She'll become great like uncle, one day." He said. As he finished, Taehyung came in.
"Where's Y/n?" Jungkook asked.
"She said she wants some lone time."
Jungkook was about to leave, but then Taehyung stopped him.
"Let her have her lone time. Let her get things cleared herself." He said and looked at y/n's mother.
"Auntie, please support her." He said as he down.
"Auntie, the whole street talks bad about her and tease her. You should support her and tell her it's ok. On our way, she tried to kill someone cause they said bad things about you. She still cares for you. She thinks you as family still. She doesn't want to lose you. She's still waiting for your reply eagerly."
"Auntie, the next time she comes here, the whole street will call her as their daughter. I promise that to you. But please accept. You should support her the most. She needs you the most. Please." He said.
Y/n's mother didn't say anything and got up and left from the house. She went in search of Y/n. She knew where she would be.
She went to the park and found Y/n sitting alone by the pond and throwing stones in the pond. That's where they spent most of their times. That was also where Mark was growing up. They always half of the day at the park.
It was a place where Y/n felt relaxed and peaceful. Whenever she feels sad or worried, she'd sit there for hours.
Y/n's mother approached towards her.
"Y/n." She called. Y/n turned her head and saw her mother. She got up and faced her.
As Y/n's mother ran out of the house. Mark was confused as to what was happening. He just followed her with the others.
"Eomma, what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Y/n, remember when you were kids, we had a nice picnic right here, and how was Mark was on my lap and you were hugging me from behind, and your father took a photo of it?" She nodded and tears flowed.
"But later, we never came here." Y/n said.
"Y/n, I'm sorry. I lost both husbands and that thought overtook me and never thought how much this job meant to you. I support you for your dream job. Not only you, but for Mark also. I was being stupid and selfish, that I didn't want my kids to do what they like. But now, I will support you both. I won't care what the others think about you, but you are my kids and I know how you both are."
"Eomma." Y/n could only said that. Nothing else really came out of her mouth.
She hugged her tight.
"Eomma, I'm sorry for shouting at you." She said and cried.
"It's ok. It's ok." She said caressing her head.
They were watching them both. Mark was in tears.
Y/n saw Mark and asked him to come. He came. Y/n broke the hug from her mother and hugged her brother tight.
"You're the best brother I could ever ask for." She said.
"So are you noona." He said. They both hugged their mother.
And finally it was family. They became a family. But Y/n didn't know who was behind this.
She smiled at the guys.
"Kook, don't tell her it was me." Taehyung said.
"Why?" He asked.
"Just let it go. Please." He said looking at them.
"Ok. As you wish." He said and they looked at the happy family, who got together.
