章 8: Sight-seeing
*next day
I woke up and started making breakfast. Today was Saturday and we didn't really have work. I put on my headphones and played my favourite song and moved to the tune, hummed while cutting veggies.
I felt someone's presence behind me. I became aware and held the knife tightly in my hand. I turned and closed my eyes and just flung the knife.
"Don't you dare come near me." I said taking my headphones off.
"OUCHHH!!!" I heard a familiar voice.
I opened my eyes and saw it was none other than Taehyung. His wrist was bleeding. It was a small cut.
"I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to do that." I said and made him sit on the couch. I got some first aid.
I gently washed the wound first.
"Ah." He flinched in pain.
"Sorry." I said and applied an ointment and covered it with a bandage.
"Why would you do that anyways?" He asked.
"That is how I escape from unknown people who are near me. But I didn't know you were there at home. Jinjja mianhae."
"It's ok." He said.
Jungkook suddenly barged into the house.
"What happened? Are you both not ready?" He asked.
"First, you knock on the door when you enter someone's house. Second, where are we going?" I asked.
"Sorry, for the first one. Second, we are going to see around with the others. And... Why do you have a first aid kit?" He asked as he saw me tke the kit back.
"That..... I actually.." Before I could say anything, Taehyung said.
"I hurt myself while helping Y/n." He said.
"Be careful next time. Now, both of you, get ready." He said and pushed both of us to our room.
I went through my closet and refreshed and wore my dress.I wore my blue joggers and a crop top. I put my hair into a messy bun and sneakers.
"Let's go." I said as I came out.
"Y-You look really beautiful." Jungkook said.
"Thanks. So do you." I said and pinched his cheeks and went out.

Third person POV
Jungkook was smiling shyly.
"Why are you smiling so much?" Taehyung asked.
"Ani. Lets go." He said and they went out.
Y/n stood there in cofusion. She saw few people standing in front of the house. She didn't know who they were.
"Who are you guys?" she asked in confusion.
"Y-you don't know us?" A guy with wide shoulders asked.
"I'm sorry, no. I don't." She said.
"Jinjja you don't know us?" Another guy who was quite short asked her.
"How many times should I say, i don't know you guys." As she said, Jungkook and Taehyung came out.
"Kook, did you even tell her who we are?" A tall guy asked Jungkook.
"Oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce you guys." He said smiling.
"I'm Namjoon." The tall guy with dimples said.
"I'm Jin." The broad shoulder guy said.
"I'm Hoseok. You can call me J Hope." A guy said smiling bright.
"I'm Suga." A guy who stood like a statue said.
"I'm Jimin." The short guy said.
"So you are Jimin, from Busan." She asked.
"Yup. So you do know me."
"Ani. Your name is familiar. I don't remember where I've heard it. When I remember, I'll get back to it. Now, let's go." She said and they got in the car.
They soon reached to the first spot.
"So, this is Han River. The best spot ever." Namjoon said.
"It is very breath-taking." Y/n said as she enjoyed the view.
"And one of the best place to take a great picture." Taehyung said and clicked a picture with his camera.
"Do you really take your camera everywhere?" Y/n asked him.
"Don't ask him that. I'll tell." Hoseok said and Y/n turned to face him.
"No matter where you go, he always takes his camera. Even if we go to eat, he'll get it."
"That's actually a nice thought. Every moment has a memory and we should capture it." She said.
Without his knowledge, Taehyung was smiling.
"Now look who's smiling a lot." Jungkook whispered to him. He hit him in his arm and took more pictures.
Y/n's phone rang. It was her brother.
"Excuse me." She said and moved a bit away from them.
"Hey Mark." She said happy.
"Noona, you haven't paid the fees for college."
"I did pay your fees." She said.
"Noona but they said it hasn't paid." He said worried.
"Pabo! Open your message and see." She said.
He opened his message and was shocked.
"N-noona, what is that?"
"I paid fees for music school in Busan. It is one of the best schools there. Feeling happy?"
"Noona, I-I'm out of words. Thanks a lot. But what about eomma?" He asked.
"I'll talk to her. And today's your first class. Don't think about what eomma will say, I'll take care of it. All the best."
"Thanks noona. I'll a good news soon. Bye." He said and the call ended.
Taehyung saw her smiling and went to her.
"Any good news? You look really happy." He asked.
"My brother is gonna get into the music school in Busan."
"Well, that's great."
"Anyways, why did you cover up for me this morning?"
"I just wanted to help." He said.
"I'm sorry and thanks."
"What are friends for?" He asked smiling. She smiled back.
They walked along the road for a while and left to the next spot, Myeong-dong. It was a shopping area. The entire streets were filled with shops and small pubs.
"Seeing this, I'm really hungry." Taehyung said.
"So am I." Y/n said.
"You guys go ahead I'll join you guys later." Y/n said and sat down.
"You guys go ahead. I'll be with her." Taehyung said and sat down with Y/n.
"Ok." They said and left them both.
"How did you meet Jungkook?" She asked.
"We met in a award function through Jin hyung. They both knew each other and he introduced him to me."
"You guys are really energetic all the time. I will be energetic only when it comes to work. How?" She asked.
"Every thing you do, even if it's a small thing, you should do it with a lot of energy and happiness. Every moment is special." He said.
"Then let's go." She got up and stretched out her hand to Taehyung. He got up holding her hand,
"Ok, let's go." He said and walked the way the others went.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"To where the others are."
"Yahh... come with me." She held his hand and ran with him.
"Where are we going?" He asked.
"To have fun." She said and ran.
She stopped suddenly.
"Why did you stop?" He asked.
"Look there." She said and he saw a shop.
"Come on." She walked in.
They had wonderful show-pieces, hats, clothes, accessories, and many more.
"Yah, how do I look?" Taehyung asked.
"Hm.... you look like a tourist." She said laughing.
"It's not that bad." He said.
"Seriously! You look damn hilarious." She said and laughed. The entire shop was looking at her.
Taehyung held her hand and took her out of the shop.
"Yahh... you know how embarrassing it was?"
"I-I'm so(laugh).... sorry." She said laughing and hitting him.
They went to the next shop. A pet shop.
"Wow! They are really cute." Y/n said and looked at the cute little puppies.
"Tae-" She called and turned but didn't see him.
"Hello, miss. Anything I can do?"
"No thanks." She said and the guy left.
"Y/n. Come here!" Taehyung shouted.
"Where were you all the time?" She asked.
He didn't reply and showed her a cute, little, Pomerian dog.
"Wow! It's so cute." She said and took the cute little one in her and he loved her.
Her phone rang.
"Wait here. I'll come back." She said and went.
"Hello, Mark."
"Noona, guess what. I got into it. They said I can start from tomorrow."
"Wow! That's great. I'm really happy for you."
"All thanls to you noona. But what about eomma?"
"I said don't worry about it. I'll take care. Bye." She said and cut the call.
As she went back, she couldn't see Taehyung. He vanished again.
She leaned by the wall and waited for him to come. But instead, someone else came.
"Hello, are you new here?" A guy asked her.
"Yeah." She said.
"Maybe I can show you around."
"No thanks. I'm already with someone."
"But maybe, he left. Let me just show you around." He said.
"No means no. Don't you understand my language?" She said and pushed that guy away from her.
"Come on. Once in a while wouldn't hurt, right?" He said in a different way.
"She said no, then leave her alone." Taehyung said and puched that guy.
He was bleeding.
"How dare you?" He said and before he could hit him, Taehyung hit him.
"Come, let's go." He said and held her hand and they both started running. He didn't leave her hand. He held it tight and ran.
They saw the others and ran to them.
"Where were you guys?" Jin aasked them.
"Looking around." Taehyung said.
"And why are you breathing heavy?" Hoseok asked.
"We were racing." Y/n said.
"HEY!!! THERE YOU ARE. I'M NOT GONNA LEAVE YOU." That guy shouted and came running.
Jungkook kicked that guy and he was down.
"RUN!" He said and they ran.
Y/n stopped mid-way.
"I... I can't. I'll die running." She said.
"Y/n, just a little. Come." Taehyung said and held her hand and ran.
They reached the car and got in.
Suga drove fast.
Y/n rested her head on Taehyung and was breathing heavy.
"Gosh! That was amazing." Y/n said.
"What? Running was amazing?" Suga asked.
"Why not?" She asked confused.
"Is he everytime like this or is it just me?" She asked Taehyung.
"Not only you or us, but to everyone, he is like that. You'll get used to it." He said.
"Ok." she said and looked out the window.
She was enjoying the view. They stopped for lunch.
Y/n got a call, this time from her mom.
"I'll catch up later." She said and attended the call.
"Hello eomma. How are you?" She asked.
"I would be even happier if you said what you were doing." She moved a bit away and talked.
"Eomma, I just got him what he likes. There's nothing wrong in it. And he's not gonna die by doing something he likes."
"You never listen to what I say. This is what your father did and see how we are now."
"Tell how much ever you want about it. I'm overcoming it. Bye eomma." She said and cut the call.
She smiled at the last sentence.
*that day
When she went down, back to the office, Taehyung talked with her.
"I guess she's using your father's issue as your weakness."
"I don't understand."
"I don't know if I can say this but she knows that you get sad or worried when she talks about your father. So she uses that to get you into her way. I'm sorry if this hurt you."
"No. You're right. You are right. She really does that. All I have to do is overcome it."
And here she was, overcoming the things her mother says about her father. She saw Taehyung standing behind her. She smiled at him.
"Thanks. It did work out." She said.
"No mention. Let's go." He said and they went in.
