章 34: •CHAPTER 34: SLAVES •

We go in the opposite way where Dylan was… I am not able to do anything and save him. I am so useless. If only I had powers like him, we could have escaped together. But I am just devastated, and I cannot think of ways to stop them. 

The car is getting far from my previous distance. We are hitting the road. Both George and Thea or rather Aphrodite are silent the entire ride but they are glancing at me. I just wait where they are going to take me. 

I thought we were going back to the school facilty, but we went in another direction. They sense that I am confused and George answered me in a monotone, "This is where you need to be kept. For sure, this time you cannot escape us." 

That really terrifies me. The mansion looks shabby and old, like it has not been occupied for years. It is like a gothic house. The gate is rusty and the fountain is not working at all.
