Jade had not expected Simon to offer his help towards getting rid of the unwanted evil in her life. She had thought he might see her as an unforgiving and sinister person but fortunately that wasn't the case, because soon they were on their way to the conference room to wait for the big bosses to arrive.

Jade and Simon had only arrived at the door to the conference room when Stephanie also appeared, approaching them from the opposite side. She gave Simon an acknowledging nod who also replied with a nod of his own as he tried to hide his distaste for her.

He wasn't just angry at her for trying to sabotage a colleague, but for also trying to implicate an innocent man with a reputable career at the company. To him vicious women like Stephanie were the ones he hated the most.
