At the underground car park of Xenox, Cale didn't see the silhouette resting on his car as he slowly approached it after the close of work. His mind was preoccupied with the thoughts of Jade and the quick game she had played on him.
He couldn't think of any possible reason why Jade had done something like that to him. She had always been a good and obedient girl, who always listened to everything he had asked of her. Now, it was more like she was a different person entirely. Far different from the innocent girl he had met in college, who clung on to him like he was all she had. He couldn't understand how this changes have occurred or the fact that this changes had happened in just a month.
Did his betrayal with Stephanie ignite this in changes in Jade? Or had she always been like this?
Wheww...This is the longest chapter I've ever written.
