章 84: Darken Horizon

He pushed Mei's wheelchair and parked it next to a wooden bench in one of the gardens of the private facility. Her personal nurse was following them from a distance. 

He's been taking the time to visit Mei because her doctor told him that it is helpful for her recovery to see someone familiar. 

"Mei, what happened to you? Why did you disappear?" 

He is holding her hand in his hands, watching her always blank expression. Her eyes would stare at him without actually seeing him. Bobby took a deep sigh, feeling frustrated. 

"Who is the man who called Wei, and told him you are in danger?" 

It has now become a habit to rumble things to Mei during his visit. It's somehow comforting to tell her his thoughts about random things because he knows she won't answer. He found a confidante in her.
