"I thought you were hurt and angry after grandpa scolded you in public on my birthday and that you regretted proposing to me and decided to ignore me."
"I just don't want to confuse you, choosing between me or your grandfather. So I'm waiting for you to take the initiative to contact me," Jonathan told what he was thinking.
"I was waiting for you to call me and you were waiting for me to call you. If it wasn't for my mother telling me to do it, maybe we would have continued to wait stupidly?" Jenny asked.
"Then, did you accept my proposal?"
"The ring is a little too small. I can't get it off my finger after putting it on. I can't give it back to you."
"So that means you accept me!" Jonathan's warm laugh came from the other end of the line.
Jenny immediately got up and threw her mother out of the room because she was too embarrassed. "Mother, aren't you busy? I won't keep you here. You can cook lunch now."
