章 103: Live and Love

Anastasia is nonplussed when Zen holds the hand that she has on his face - not only because of their sudden contact, but also because of how he is looking at her right now.

His gaze is so soft and warm that it draws her in. He also has this affectionate smile that is making her heart flutter. The endearment is crystal clear and palpable - his feelings are all in the open for her to behold.

She can't help but stare back and gape a little in complete captivation. It takes her aback that he still has this much effect on her even after everything that has gone down. In all actuality, though, she knows for herself that she still hasn't really moved on from him. The love that she has for him when she is alive has persisted up until now that she is a zombie.

It transcends through time - death and life.
