章 65: A Cliffhanger End and Beginning

With all her remaining strength, Anastasia kept hitting the glass window of the van in an attempt to get out of there and escape the fire.

Doing so is rapidly consuming all the energy she has left. With the peculiar smell of chemicals in the air as well as the dense smoke, she is starting to lose grip of her consciousness once more.

"N-No, no... P-Please.... I-I don't want to die... I-I don't want to d-die..." she kept murmuring in fear as she just persistently continued to break the glass.

Eventually, a crack was formed after she repeatedly slammed on it with brute force. Now that it's fragile enough, she proceeded to punch it with her bare fist, which then completely made it shatter into pieces.

She ended up getting herself injured from the broken fragments. Her fresh new wounds on her hand began to bleed, making her hiss out loud in pain.
