Ki-tae was being watched closely by the man Mihir had assigned. He had heard the instruction given by the General and he could not help but feel that there was more to it.
"I am sorry for the inconvenience, Mr. Ki-tae. Let me know if there is anything that I can help you with." The man said in a non-threatening tone but Ki-tae remained tensed and on-guard.
"Ah! Thank you! I will soon be heading out anyways." Ki-tae replied to him.
"I am sorry but that is not possible at the moment." The young man replied Ki-tae.
"As I thought." Ki-tae thought to himself, he had his hunch but this made it clear.
This was not simply a case of watching over him. No, this was something more than that.
"I see," Ki-Tae said out loud, replying to the man and silence ensured. It was clear neither were interested in having an actual conversation.
