章 101: The Haunting Name

Alexander looked at the phone.

The breakfast was being served thus Alexander wanted to receive the call outdoors.

But as Alexander was about to get up, Evelyn touched his elbow. "Stay here"

Alexander's face relaxed as he sat down in his seat again.

"Hello," Alexander said in a low tone.

"Alexander, how are you, my child?" Mr. Black said in a happy tone. 

Evelyn could hear the faint voice coming from the receiver. She was able to know what Mr. Black was about to say to Alexander.

"I should be the one asking you that." Alexander chuckled "How are you feeling now?"

Mr. Black was happy to know that nothing had changed in between them. "I still have some recurring pain. I wish you were here."

"I wished the same. But I heard Clara visited you." Alexander looked at Clara, who was staring at him with wide eyes.

"She did." Mr. Black's voice was low. "But I don't know with whom she came. Some guy named Ol … Oliver I guess."
