When Alexander came out, he noticed the room was empty. His eyes wandered around but did not find the person he was looking for.

The room was comparatively smaller than what he had expected, but Alexander was still satisfied with it. After all, the smaller the room, the closer Evelyn will be to him.

'The closer we are, the less space for her to run.'

Alexander walked towards the couch as he rubbed his wet hair with a towel. This plain black T-shirt moved up along his arms, showing off his well-defined muscles.

'Where did Eve run off to?' Alexander emerged in his thoughts.

Alexander was about to call Evelyn when he received a text giving a brief report about the team's work today. As Alexander was busy reading the text, his hands exerted force in rubbing.

This scene befell Evelyn's view as soon as she came inside the room. Her eyes were set on Alexander's arm that moved along Alexander's hairs.
