章 17: Encounter
MC .POV.
Its morning the little birds are singing again and its time to go exploring I also want to train my magic a little, I stand up and stretch then head in a direction I haven't been in yet, I walked for ages finding nothing new just rocks sticks and the usual short trees, everything is so boring and my friends aren't awake yet and I can't talk to them so I walked and walked some more looking for something new to entertain me, then I had an idea magic I'll experiment with magic while I'm board.
I flung fire here and there making it form different shapes I made balls of fire throwing them to see how far they would go then immediately putting it out with water so I didn't start a bush fire then I made rings and hoops then flung them like rubber bands or jumped through them like a circus act next I tried to change the colour I remember that if you make fire hot enough it changes to blue so I made blue fire.
Then I moved onto air I made rings and flung them except this time it cut clean through the tree and it fell over, the loud sound of the falling tree woke blue the now very angry snake readjusted his glasses and glanced in the direction of the tree then at me.
"Red…. I thought we were trying to be sneaky"
His calmness was unsettling but he had a point I was trying to be quiet incase a larger or stronger beast is looking for a new fox fur coat, I didn't say anything and just walked away silently, surprisingly white was still asleep I do think he woke up too early yesterday so I won't wake him.
But as if mocking me I heard a loud roar whatever it came from was angry and headed straight for me I heard its foot steps getting closer and its low snarls as it ran towards me I knew running would make the situation worse so I did the only thing I know of to defeat myself, I set myself on fire as it jumped out of the bushes at me it tried to stop when it noticed my fur was covered in fire but its body was already flying towards me and it hit my chest head on lighting its front on fire it started rolling on the ground desperately trying to put out the fire and I got a good look at it, a bear a large or in comparison to me medium sized bear that had spikes on its back and hind legs a hind bear don't ask me how I know that I just do.
The already angry bear was now double pissed and the impact had woken up white, the bear swiped at me and stood up on its back legs roaring at me it wanted to attack me but it couldn't because of the fire it kept swinging at me without actually hitting me and it was starting to get annoying the bear was just swinging at me in blind rage and I'd had enough, I lunge at him avoiding its claws and tackle it to the ground catching its fur on fire again and biting into its neck if this is the strongest beast in this area of the forrest then I don't have to worry, I topple the bear onto its back and continuously claw and bite at it while it tried to throw me off until it stopes moving when its finally dead I put out the fire and rip off its head just to make extra sure it's dead.
"Wait wait wait, is that a demon beast?!"
Its flesh and blood is black as tar and spilling out of its neck and my mouth and claws are dripping with black sticky blood and it burn's not like hot burning its a spicy burning like hot sauce.
"No one eats demon beasts because they hurt to eat, but if we leave it like this it will turn into an undead"
White is pretty good for information.
"Don't worry ill get rid of it"
"Wait don't burn it its goi…"
I didn't let him finish his sentence before I bit right into the flesh of the bear, he's right this is really spicy but there is one major difference between me and other magical beasts I absolutely Love Spicy foods, I thought I would never get the chance to eat spicy food once I came here and it was delicious I might end up hunting more demon beasts just for this flavour.
"Wha what are you doing?! Eating a demon beast isn't your throat burning?"
Both blue and white were worried so I picked up the half eaten bear and dragged it to a near by lake I found earlier I left the bear by the side or the water and started cleaning my face and paws, I looked back at blue and white.
"Im fine, it actually docent taste that bad to me"
They both looked at me like I kicked a child I didn't mind their judging stares as I went back to eating.
I know I'm probably just being paranoid but I'v been feeling like I'm being watched for a while ever since I came to this lake and Im almost finished eating the bear but I haven't put down my guard I have my fire magic ready so if I hear or see anything I'm setting myself on fire again, I finished eating the bears meat and started chewing on its bones and blue and white have been playing a game on my back for a while now I wonder what their doing?
*creeee*
The creaking of a tree branch stoped all there of us in our tracks we all froze in place.
*creeek*
I turned my head slowly in the direction of the sound
*SNAP BANN*
The sudden loud sound and the tree branch falling startled me into setting myself on fire and growling at it, I slowly walked over to the fallen branch to find a young elf stuck under it he was struggling and trying to get the branch off but his face turned to terror when he saw me approaching and became more desperate to escape.
