章 189: Surface suffocation

Kaycee and Noah were bickering as they got ready for school. Kaycee went downstairs and saw a lot of maids.

"Umm, excuse me?"

"Good morning, Madame. What do you need?" The maid asked in a full bow not even meeting her eyes.

"Oh, please call me Kaycee. I just need to find Mr Darwin." Kaycee said.

"He is waiting for you in the hall." The maid said and showed her the way.

After going around many corridors that looked all same, the maid pointed at the large hall filled with golden lights and shining marbles.

Kaycee walked towards Darwin, who was talking on his phone and sat next to him.

"I will call you later." He ends the phone and diverted his gaze towards Kaycee.

"Did you sleep well? Where you comfortable?" Darwin asked.

Kaycee said with a smile, "Yes. It slept really well. I was comfortable too." She lied.

"Umm, that is great," Darwin said as he smiled.
