章 184: Spread of darkness

Lisa was walking on a deserted street as the sun was peeking out, taking time to come out and shine its light.

Lisa wore a grey gown with a thick shawl around her neck. The only sound which was heard was from her heel as they hit the ground.

Tic Tic Tic

She carried a fragile smile, as the weather was calm. Her hands were filled with groceries and stationeries.

She had gone to get some groceries in the early morning to cook something.

Lisa stopped on her track as she smelled something weird on her way.

"Shit? Is the tuna can leaking?" She yelled as she rummaged through her grocery bag.

She didn't notice someone following her, with a venomous smile.

As soon as Lisa smiled, closing the tuna can's lid tightly, she started walking again, but this time, she heard it.

Twigs chatter, footsteps huddling, light chuckles and sniffles.
