章 174: Anywhere I see

Lisa sat with a grim face as the pot next to her on the stove boiled, frantically.

But she didn't notice it. Her mind was wandering far away from her present.

It was wandering to the time when she was so close to her best friend,

When they held hands and rushed around the field,

When they joined hands for murder and revenge,

When their only weakness used to be each other...

"LISA!" KL shouted as he shook her with all his force.

"Oh?" Lisa asked, as she finally looked up at him. She saw her baby boy, Dwin and her five-year-old daughter, Stephanie looking at her, wretched and shocked.

While KL was annoyed when he said, "Here you go again." He was sick of Lisa behaving so distracted and disturbed.

The pot almost exploded right next to her, but she didn't even spare a glance. The pot had scared the hang out of the kids, who were panting.

But there she stood, like a rock, with tints of regret and guilt.
