When they were both freed, they followed Gedon outside the room. It turned out that the building where they were taken was one of the movie sets being used by crews of the Alpha Beta Company.

They rode a white limousine car and sat at the long cushioned seat. Leo was amazed that there were wine glasses on one side, and he couldn't help but think how nice it would be if he could bring Lia along. 

It's been so long since he last heard from her; the last time was when he visited her new home in the Liquong mansion. The heartache he felt from knowing that she already had a boyfriend had discouraged him to face her. Plus, the fact that her boyfriend was a mutant shattered his self-confidence.
