Leo tried to stop Mikihiko but the latter was gone!
Vanished with a flash only to prepare for his delayed return; with a bolt of lightning!

Mizuki and Mikihiko moved towards Erik's hotel room upon the invitation of the owner of the room himself.
Apparently, it was time for Mikihiko to confront his demons and win against them.
Mizuki was also looking forward to seeing her friend finally be free of his pain and suffering and she would do everything reasonable to help.
"Take a seat...I will explain the procedure to both of you." (Erik)
Erik motioned for the two of them to sit down and listen to his instructions.
Mikihiko and Mizuki nodded towards him before the former pulled two chairs from the corner of the room; one for the girl and one for himself.
"First of all, I will cast a [Boundary-spell] to keep the disturbance contained within my room." (Erik)
"We don't want any interruptions when we are in the middle of dealing with an [Ancient-Spirit]." (Erik)
Saying so, Erik raised his hand and took out a couple of talismans from his sleeves before channeling his psion into them.
The talisman glowed with crimson light and shot towards the walls; sticking to the surface as invisible energy spread throughout the room; isolating the place from the outside world.
He then turned to look at Mizuki; a serious expression slipping onto his face.
"Now then, Mizuki...you will have to share the power of your eyes with me." (Erik)
Mizuki had a nervous expression on her face as she quietly waited for Erik to continue with his words.
She was still quite conscious about her eyes; even after training with "Baldy", for some time.
But she wouldn't say no to her benefactor.
"I can't see a spirit, only you can....so we would need to form a temporary connection between us so that I could borrow the ability of your eyes for a short period." (Erik)
"I know that it is a lot to ask but I wouldn't have asked for your assistance if there was another way." (Erik)
"N-No Senior E-Erik, you helped m-me and taught me how to c-control my powers without any ulterior motives." (Mizuki)
Mizuki immediately spoke up!
"I-I will be happy t-to help Mikihiko-san o-overcome his problems!" (Mizuki)
"I-I will do what I can to provide you with m-my assistance!" (Mizuki)
Mizuki reassured both Erik and Mikihiko that she would be glad to help them with her powers so they need not worry.
Mikihiko looked at Mizuki....wide-eyed; with surprise!
"Mizuki-san!....I-I am truly thankful!" (Mikihiko)
He was feeling very emotional that the girl he had recently made friends with was willing to help him even when she had no obligation to do so.
"Alright!" (Erik)
Seeing that everyone was on the same page, Erik decided that it was time to proceed forward.
"Good...Mikihiko, you will use [Spirit-Resonance] to link one of Mizuki's senses with mine." (Erik)
"After that, I will use a certain spell which will teleport my conscious inside your mindscape." (Erik)
"There I will confront the spirit and deal with his control over your mind." (Erik)
"But that is too dangerous, Senior Erik!" (Mikihiko)
"He will rip you apart!" (Mikihiko)
Mikihiko immediately spoke up!
He himself knew just how terrifying that spirit was...and seeing that his senior was planning to fight it without any assistance really scared him for the latter's safety.
Hearing Mikihiko's words, Erik simply shook his head and spoke in a certain tone.
"Don't worry, I already have a path to retreat in case I needed to escape..." (Erik)
"Even so! He is too powerful for even you to face alone!" (Mikihiko)
"Hm? Who said I will be confronting an ancient spirit alone?" (Erik)
"Don't worry, I know 'someone' who can easily tame the spirit that runs rampant within your conscious." (Erik)
Erik didn't seem worried at the prospect of fighting an ancient spirit that could very well kill him.
Rather...he seemed to be very confident in his abilities to be able to stand up to the enemy.
What gave him so much confidence?
Who was this "someone" he was talking about?
So many questions popped within their minds yet they didn't have any of the answers.
"Senior Erik..." (Mikihiko)
Mikihiko still didn't give up; he tried to convince Erik to take caution and handle the situation with more preparations.
Both the juniors seemed worried for their senior's safety but the latter simply dismissed their worry and motioned for Mikihiko to cast the resonance spell.
"Do it..." (Erik)
Faced with such a situation, Mikihiko didn't have any other choice but to relent and do as instructed.
"...ok." (Mikihiko)
He raised the [Proto-CAD] towards Erik and Mizuki before activating his spell.
The green aura coiled against the caster and the targets as both Erik and Mizuki closed their eyes while relaxing their nerves for the spell to achieve maximum success.
"[Spirit-Resonance]" (Mikihiko)
Both Erik and Mizuki felt a foreign psion invade their bodies and travel towards their eyes.
A soothing sensation filled their bodies as their sense of sight was linked to each other; Mizuki willed her ability to act as both she and Erik slowly opened their eyes.
There was no apparent change in Mizuki's vision since Erik hadn't activated either of his abilities whereas his eyes had gained a dark greenish glow; indicating Mizuki's eye powers.
"Beautiful..." (Erik)
After opening his eyes, he couldn't help but be lost in the feeling as a beautiful scene filled his vision.
Various colorful gases were floating in the air within the room, the surroundings seemed a lot brighter too!
All of it together with the hazy space boundaries created a breathtaking view!
Unfortunately, there were no spirits within the room due to the [Boundary spell] that Erik had set up for safety purposes.
"You have a gift, Mizuki...cherish it well." (Erik)
Erik complemented Mizuki on her gift as he regained his composure.
He turned to look towards both of his juniors and motioned for them to remain seated.
He then walked to Mikihiko and pulled a chair to sit down.
"It is time, let's begin..." (Erik)
