"She didn't even offer us any of them chips!?" (Katsuto)

"Alright you guys...don't bully Mari like that." (Erik)
"Erik!...you are back!" (Mari)
The doorknob of the VIP box twisted open as Erik entered the room before closing the door behind him.
Mayumi turned towards the newcomer and let out a smile.
"You finally decided to show up?" (Mayumi)
"Haha...I was just busy taking care of somethings." (Erik)
He smiled at Mayumi and he gave her a rather vague yet truthful reason behind his disappearance.
"It's alright...at least you wouldn't miss the [Newcomer's Events]." (Mayumi)
Mayumi wanted to spend some time with her fiance...alone.
But she knew that now was not the time.
"Yeah...sup?" (Erik)
He turned towards Katsuto and gave him a nod which the latter returned the gesture; before walking towards the group.
"I can see that you are healthy, Mari." (Erik)
"You can finally finish the race without an outside interference..." (Erik)
Erik smiled a little as he was happy seeing all his friends enjoying themselves.
"Yeah sure....if I live to see another day." (Mari)
Mari glared at Katsuto for snitching on her before snatching the bag of chips back from Suzune's hands.
"You little punk!" (Mayumi)
Mayumi was having none of it!
How could she allow Mari to eat the chips if she couldn't!?
Like any woman, Mayumi was very concerned with her weight since unlike Mari she couldn't eat whatever she wants without getting fat.
When your friend can't eat "something" and fortunately you can...!
Under no circumstances should you try eating "it" in their presence!
"YoU wIlL nOt EaT tHaT cHiPs!" (Mayumi)
Mayumi was about to go to war with Mari over the bad of chips but a flash of light stunned both of them.
*whoosh!*
A large hand-cut through the air and took away the bag of chips from within Mari's hands.
"I am feeling rather hungry at the moment..." (Katsuto)
The behemoth of a man took out a bunch of chips from the packet and ate them without any other thought!
*crunch!*
"Uhhm...nice!" (Katsuto)
"You want some?" (Katsuto)
Under the shocked eyes of Mayumi and Mari; Katsuto offered Erik some chips which the latter accepted without much thought.
"Don't mind if I do..." (Erik)
He extended his hand forward and pulled out some chips from the packet; he was offered by his friend.
*crunch*
"Uhhm...nice flavor!" (Erik)
With a slight smile on his face, he complimented the taste of the chips while completely ignoring the look of betrayal on his friend's faces.
"Hey! That's not fair!" (Mari/Mayumi)
Mari and Mayumi moved towards the bag of chips in a hurry; wanting to have some before their friends emptied the packet.
"Too slow!" (Suzune)
It was time for these noobs to get stunned for the second time!
Suzune immediately closed the distance between herself and the packet of chips; taking it from Katsuto's hands with ease.
"Haha...the precious potato chips are mine!" (Suzune)
Saying her part, she tilted the packet to take out the remaining pieces of chips; so that she could eat them!
*crunch*
"Ooohh! This is tasty!" (Suzune)
Suzune had a stoic smile on her face and she tossed the packet towards the two fast-approaching women!
Suzune quickly bailed out of the way before watching the situation with a mild smile.
"The chips are mine, Mayumi!" (Mari)
"Never!..." (Mayumi)
*Grab!*
Both of them jumped towards the packet; grabbing its two ends respectively.
"Mine!" (Mari)
"Mine!" (Mayumi)
"Mine!" (Mari)
And their childish behavior continued as they obsessed over the packet of potato chips.
*rip!*
Due to their banter, they ignored the fact that a packet of chips could only be so durable to withstand their tug of war for a very short period.
*flop!*
The packet of potato chips could no longer take the brunt of their force and was torn apart.
All the leftover chips within the packet were immediately spilled all over the ground; becoming unfit for consumption within seconds.
"Nooooo!" (Mari/Mayumi)
Both of the friends let out a scream filled with their pain and agony and they watched their snack fall on the ground.
"Well well....looks like the event is about to start." (Erik)
Erik ignored the "wailing women" and walked towards the glass to observe the ongoing [Newcomer's Event].

As Shizuku took the field, her friends and the third year Mayumi, Suzune, and Mari were watching in separate groups, curious to see Tatsuya's CAD adjustments.
The match was somewhat underwhelming since Shizuku completed dominated her opponents using her new magic.
For her match, Shizuku used the magic [Active Air Mines], newly designed by Tatsuya, and scored perfectly.
The nature of her magic made it a piece of cake for her to stack up more points using a single incantation.
Partly thanks to Tatsuya, all three [First High] participants qualified for the finals.
A lackluster performance from the men's team caused the First High leaders to consider devoting more time to technical skills.
For the finals of [Speed Shooting], Tatsuya prepared a different CAD for Shizuku. After noting that the other two girls won their semi-final matches, Shizuku was eager to win.
For her match, Shizuku used [Convergence magic] to pull together her targets while simultaneously pushing apart her opponent's targets.
She also used [Vibration magic] to destroy single targets. The CAD she was using was a generalized CAD with an auxiliary aiming system, something Suzune and Mayumi noted was state-of-art.
First High won first, second, and third places for [Speed Shooting], with Shizuku coming in first.

"Well...that was quick!" (Suzune)
Suzune was very happy and pleasantly surprised by the level of domination displayed by Shizuku.
With her winning the [Speed-Shooting], it simply increased the gap between them as first place and the second place, [Third High].
"It is still too early to celebrate...the incoming events are way harder when compared to [Speed-Shooting]." (Erik)
"While it is normal to be happy at the victory....make sure no to get carried away." (Erik)
"They may have lost the battle but they mustn't win the war." (Erik)
Erik warned Suzune against celebrating too early; especially since the highly-rated events had yet to begin.
"Hm...I know." (Suzune)
"I will keep my head straight!" (Suzune)
Suzune nodded her head; agreeing to her friend's words since it held a lot of merits.
"And I expect nothing less from you." (Erik)

"That last potato chip is mine, Mari!" (Mayumi)
"Like hell it is!" (Mari)
"Sigh..." (Suzune/Katsuto/Erik)
