Inside a well-established room, two individuals could be seen having a conversation.
Both of these individuals had a serious expression on their faces as they discussed the current events.
"I am afraid...I have bad news teacher." (Zhou)
Who was Zhou Gongjin?
A master strategist and a major player in the grand scheme of things!
His tone displayed his annoyance concerning the recent events.
Zhou Gongjin was a good-looking man with long hair that extended to his waist and yellow eyes.
He would normally wear a suit; his favorite attire so to say.
He underwent [Surgery of Perpetual Youth] and one of the successful products of that magic. Due to this, even though he was in his 60's, he retained the appearance of his 20's.
He and his teacher wish to destroy the [Yotsuba family] and the [Great Asian Union].
The reason behind this was because the [Yotsuba Family] had destroyed [Dahan] that Zhou and his boss had originally belonged to.
This resulted in [Dahan] being taken over by the [Great Asian Union].
Thus, in order to achieve their ultimate goal, Gongjin, and his boss had begun to devise many different chronological plans.
Unfortunately for them, the majority of their plans had been spoiled by the true protagonist of this world, Yotsuba Tatsuya.
Zhou Gongjin, a name that could instill fear into the hearts of many knelt on the ground in front of an old man; whom he addressed as "teacher".
"Speak your mind, Zhou...not a single problem can't be solved with sufficient time and patience." (Jiedo)
The old man slowly motioned for Zhou to continue with his report and not to dwell on the past.
"Yes teacher!" (Zhou)
His "teacher", Jiedo Heigu also called Gu Jie was the leader of the international terrorist organization, [Blanche].
Also the founder of the international crime syndicate [No Head Dragon].
He gave direct orders to Zhou Gongjin who was also from [Dahan], who also hoped to accomplish the goal of destroying the Yotsuba.
While he seemed only about fifty years old but actually he was a 97 years old man.
He too had undergone [Surgery of Perpetual Youth] magic when he developed it in 2049; while he was still in [Dahan].
He was one of the successful products of that magic. Due to that, even though his real age was 97, he retains the appearance of his 50's.
He had white-colored hair (grey), had dark skin; that was from him being an oriental Asian.
Though he didn't seem to have any wrinkles, cracks, sagging, or age spots (senile lentigo).
Similar to Zhou, he too was originally from [Dahan], where he was a part of Dahan's military occultists.
However, he was exiled from it in 2054, due to the internal conflicts in [Kunlunfang Institute research] between [Modern Magic] and [Ancient Magic].
Unfortunately, [Modern Magic] came out on top, and all [Ancient Magicians] affiliated with the Institute; such as Jiedo Heigu were exiled.
Soon after that, the country was destroyed by the [Yotsuba Family] and then assimilated into the [Great Asian Union].
He was one of the [Seven Sages] who could access [Hliðskjálf], which allowed him to collect information from around the world with incredible efficiency.
"[Blanche Headquarters] in Japan has been destroyed." (Zhou)
"The leader was killed whereas the other members were captured by the government." (Zhou)
"Even the [No Head Dragon Headquarters] in Japan was destroyed." (Zhou)
"The branch leader and the division leader were killed by someone." (Zhou)
"Richard is overseas, making sure that the organization gains a strong foothold in Australia so he can't actively do anything." (Zhou)
"We tried to find the one responsible for all this but even our spies within the Japanese government couldn't find anything." (Zhou)
"We have suffered a lot of damage in a very short time." (Zhou)
"Not to mention, that fool Huang tried to sabotage Erik Saltzman's CAD to win a fucking bet." (Zhou)
"The Saltzman Empire seems to be on the move, they are preparing to retaliate and the situation is dire." (Zhou)
"There isn't much we can do to influence Japan since our forces and score of income have been destroyed." (Zhou)
"We are officially years behind our plan!" (Zhou)
"If only that idiot [Overhaul] had given me the nuclear coordinates before dying!" (Zhou)
Zhou was angry and frustrated at the incompetence showcased by his subordinates in the past few months.
Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done to salvage the situation.
Even so, the old man seemed hardly fazed and he closed his eyes to contemplate.
"Hm...what about using Sawamura Yoshio?" (Jiedo Heigu)
"We can use his media company to advertise negative criticism on Magicians." (Jiedo Heigu)
The old man calmly opened his eyes and questioned his only living disciple; what he thought about his plan?
Zhou had to regretfully shake his head to indicate that it wasn't possible.
"I already tried but he doesn't seem he is willing to corporate with us." (Zhou)
Even so, Jiedo still didn't show any reaction, even after seeing that he didn't have many options left.
"Is that so? Hm....what was his daughter's name again?" (Jiedo Heigu)
He asked his disciple about the name of Sawamura's daughter.
"Sawamura Maki..." (Zhou)
Zhou could guess his "teacher's" intentions as he answered his question.
"Ah yes!.....have her assassinated." (Jiedo Heigu)
"Tell Robert Sun to organize the assassination." (Jiedo Heigu)
The vicious and unhesitant nature of the old man was one of the few things that Zhou greatly admired.
"As you wish 'teacher'." (Zhou)
"Now how to deal with the Saltzman Empire?" (Jiedo Heigu)
"May I suggest something?" (Erik)
Both Jiedo and Zhou immediately turned towards the source of the sound but didn't make any sudden moment after seeing a red glow pointing in their direction.
"Now gentlemen, let us be civilized and chat like grown-ups; shall we?" (Erik)
From the corner of the room, two individuals stepped out in the open...One of them was a white-haired man while the other was a female whose features couldn't be seen due to her strange clothing.
Erik moved towards the master-disciple duo with his finger pointing in their direction.
His scalding hot aura was compressed at his fingertips; ready to burn a hole through anything!
"Erik Saltzman!? How did you get in here!?" (Jiedo)
The old man spoke in a seemingly agitated tone but unfortunately for him...Erik could see the future with his [Clairvoyance].
And so he knew that all this surprise and astonishment was just a ruse; to buy some time.
So that Zhou could use his [Shadow-Beast] to tear him apart from behind.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you Mr. Gongjin." (Erik)
"I come in good faith but if you will force my hand...then I wouldn't mind reducing you along with your teacher into dust." (Erik)
"So I suggest you choose your next course of actions very wisely." (Erik)
Erik warned Zhou to mind himself and not make any stupid moves otherwise he would kill him immediately.
"How did yo—" (Zhou)
"Stand down Zhou!" (Jiedo)
Zhou wanted to question, how did he know that he was about to attack him? But before he could; his "teacher" ordered him to stay his hand at once!
He didn't have any other choice but to obey his "teacher's" commands as he stopped infusing psion into his CAD.
"Wise choice, [Black Sage]..." (Erik)
Erik complemented the Old man's institution and also stopped concentrating his psion on his fingertips.
"Come now, we have a lot to discuss." (Erik)
He spoke with a smile that would naturally instill fear into the hearts of his enemies!
