"Alright!" (Mizuki)
Each of them made their way towards the pavilion to inform Mayumi about their discovery.
Whereas due to the accident, Third High had gotten much closer to catching up to First High in aggregate score.

"So if I understand correctly, in round one of the [Battle-Board] each participant will be given equal points?" (Erik)
Erik was talking with the representative of the organizers, about the distribution of points after the accident.
How many points will the participants be awarded; considering the round didn't conclude normally?
The representative of the [Organizing Committee] had agreed to have a conversation with Erik.
So to answer the question asked of him; the representative replied in a calm tone.
"You are right." (Organizer)
"The points will be equally awarded to each participant and every one of them will move on to the next round." (Organizer)
"Alright, and round two will be held tomorrow?" (Erik)
"Yes, Mr. Saltzman." (Organizer)
The representative had every intention of eliminating any chances of misunderstanding between the committee and the various teams.
"Noted...also I would suggest you move on with the next event." (Erik)
"I don't see a need to delay the event any longer than needed." (Erik)
Erik acknowledges the representative's words and suggested that they should not break the flow of the event and proceed as planned.
The accident in the morning had already been swiftly taken care of, it wasn't a hard task to arrange for the next event.
"This!?..." (Organizer)
Hearing the suggestion, a thoughtful expression appeared on the representative's face.
He was pondering on Erik's words.
He spoke; after a couple of seconds of contemplating.
"Alright, we will soon be issuing a notice concerning the event time-slot." (Organizer)
Hearing his words, Erik simply nodded and thanked the man for his time.
"Thanks for clearing my doubts." (Erik)
"I will share this knowledge with the other school teams and let them know of your decision beforehand so that everyone is prepared." (Erik)
"Alright..." (Organizer)
Coming to a mutual understanding, both of the individuals left the place to go and take care of their respective tasks.
The representative went to the committee to present Erik's proposal whereas Erik made his way towards the main terminal.
The latter had every intention to keep his word and inform the other teams about the changes that they could expect to take effect soon.
Not to mention, he also had to change into a costume for the upcoming [Pillar-Break] event.

Mari was sleeping soundly, Mayumi and Naotsugu simply left the room and moved towards a more open area within the pavilion.
Both of them were discussing the accident when suddenly the people whom Mayumi asked to check the footage returned with results.
Isori stepped forward and spoke in a grave tone.
"Your suspicion was correct, Mayumi-san." (Isori)
"Or at least that is what we have concluded after rewatching the video footage many times; again and again." (Isori)
Mayumi didn't look surprised as she had already concluded that her theory was indeed correct.
"Is that so? Thank you, Isori-san, Tatsuya-san, and the others for your help." (Mayumi)
Unfortunately, Naotsugu still had some doubts in his mind.
"Are you completely sure!?" (Naotsugu)
He questioned in a calm tone yet the overwhelming pressure hidden within his words was alarming!
After all, this was no small matter!
If he took action without sufficient proof then not only will he be bashed by the organizers and the sponsors of the competition.
But also his clan will be implicated by his actions!
"Y-Yes, we think that this accident is the result of an outside influence but we don't have concrete proof to make a point." (Isori)
Faced with the sudden seriousness in the air, Isori felt nervous yet didn't deviate from his previous statement.
Tatsuya also stepped forward to speak on the matter; he intended to take some pressure off Isori and normalize the situation.
"The sudden acceleration of the [Seventh-High participant] was no coincidence." (Tatsuya)
"I believe that there is a mole within the committee." (Tatsuya)
"Before every event, our CAD go through an inspection." (Tatsuya)
"Someone from the inspection committee could have rigged Watanabe-san's CAD." (Tatsuya)
Naotsugu unknowingly looked towards his younger sibling who also nodded; indicating that she agreed with Tatsuya's theory.
Therefore, after hearing their words and after seeing his younger sister supporting their conclusion.
He took in a deep breath to calm his nerves and regain control over his emotions.
He closed his eyes for a few seconds before opening his mouth to speak.
"Very well then, I will lo—" (Naotsugu)
*knock*
Before Naotsugu could finish his sentence, a knock on the doorknob interrupted him mid-speech.
Erika who was closest to the door looked towards her older brother; as if seeking his approval before she opens the door.
The latter just let out a frustrated sigh and nodded; indicating that it was alright and that she should open the door.
Erika seeing her brother nod also nodded and moved to open the door; to see who was on the other side.
*turns doorknob*
*click!*
"May I come in?" (Minoru)
Kudou Minoru stood outside the pavilion with a calm expression.
His ocean blue eyes would gleam from time to time; giving him an enchanting look.
He wore his [Second-High School] uniform.
Erika froze for a few seconds before finally breaking out of her thoughts and giving way to the newcomer.
She had an embarrassed look on her face as she cursed herself for freezing in front of everyone.
Now don't misunderstand, Erika didn't like Minoru in any sense, she hadn't even met him before.
Unfortunately for her, just like Miyuki; Minoru was also genetically modified to maximize his charm and charisma thus he had the same effect on girls that Miyuki had on boys.
"Kudou-san? Is there something you require?" (Mayumi)
Even though Mayumi hadn't had a conversation with the grandson of Kudou Retsu; she still knew him through her fiancee.
She asked him about his reason for coming to their pavilion.
"Hello Saegusa-san, I wanted to inform Senior Erik about something." (Minoru)
"So is he here?" (Minoru)
Minoru had come to the [First-High Pavilion] to inform Erik about the outside interference in the [Battle-Board].
He wanted to assure him that he will take care of the nuisance and make sure the rest of the competition proceeds without any problems.
"No, he has gone to talk to the Organizers about the distribution of points in today's event." (Mayumi)
Mayumi truthfully informed the young Kudou of Erik's location; he should be returning any moment now.
"Oh? Alright, I hope you don't mind if I wait here for him to arrive?" (Minoru)
"Sure, he should be returning anyway." (Mayumi)
"Alright, thank you!" (Minoru)
Minoru thanked Mayumi and moved towards a more secluded spot as he didn't have any intention of disturbing the others.
Especially since they seemed to be having a serious discussion.
Unfortunately, due to his presence.
No one opened their mouth as they couldn't just continue with their discussion about whether there was outside interference in the [Battle-Board] or not!?
The competition was heavily organized by the Kudou family, talking smack without definite proof was simply seeking trouble.
Especially since you were in the room with a Kudou.
And not some normal Kudou at that!
But the grandson of the former World's Strongest Magician!
Soon enough, an uncomfortable silence permeabilized the atmosphere.
To break this uncomfortable atmosphere, Leo decided to engage in a conversation with the newcomer.
"Hello, Kudou-san! My name is Saijou Leonhard, a course-2 student at [First-High School]." (Leo)
"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Saijou-san." (Minoru)
"The feelings are mutual! You can call me Leo by the way." (Leo)
"That's what everyone addresses me as." (Leo)
"Sure, Leo-san." (Minoru)
"So...if I may ask? Why do you call Erik-san, Senior Erik?" (Leo)
Hearing Leo's question, Minoru had a pondering look on his face.
"Hm...how should I put this?" (Minoru)
"Well, Senior Erik knew my grandfather and invited him to join in on his [Dream Chaser Technology] project." (Minoru)
"I got to know Senior Erik when he would sometime come to the Kudou manor to discuss things with my grandfather." (Minoru)
"Similar to Senior Erik, I also expertise in Convergence-Type and Absorption-Type magic." (Minoru)
"Thus one day my grandfather requested Senior Erik to teach me a few things." (Minoru)
"He agreed and would teach me a few things here and there." (Minoru)
"Thankfully, I was able to quickly learn whatever he would teach me." (Minoru)
"He got curious about my growth and continued to teach me for a year and a half." (Minoru)
"Senior Erik has taught me a lot of magic." (Minoru)
"Even a couple of his own personally created spells." (Minoru)
"So you can think of me as his junior." (Minoru)
"Haha...looks like we will face a lot of trouble in [Pillar-Break] and [Monolith-Code]." (Leo)
Leo let out a self-mocking laugh as he successfully destroyed the uncomfortable atmosphere.
But Minoru in turn had an awkward smile on his face as he didn't know what to say.
"Well, it is what it is...." (Minoru)
