Since she had no idea how to react to or to feel about it, Tang Moyu decided not to waste her time on it anymore. It wasn't like it would change anything between her and her father.

So he was like any other father who adored their child, albeit her father had a hard time showing his affections to her, given his personality and the trauma that Tang Moyu faced because of him. It also didn't help that Tang Moyu's face serves as a strong reminder of what he had lost to him every time their eyes met.

Why did she have to take after so much of Yan Qiuyu's features anyway? If she had been born with a different appearance compared to what she had right now, perhaps her father wouldn't have felt conflicted whenever he looked at her face.
