Three days later, Tang Moyu found herself with Qin Jiran and He Lianchen in Beijing. It had been days since Gu Yuyao left to see her grandfather, and none of them had heard from her since then. It only fueled He Lianchen's frustration, so he insisted on having Qin Jiran accompany him to see Gu Yuyao. 

Thankfully, Li Meili, as well as Lin Qianrou, who just came back from her month-long honeymoon with Xu Wenyang, offered to look after her twins while she and Qin Jiran weren't around. Still, she couldn't shrug off this feeling that she was babysitting He Lianchen and Qin Jiran at the same time. 

Gu Yuyao did tell her to look after He Lianchen, but she never told her that she should keep He Lianchen in Shenzhen, forbidding him to follow her to Beijing. It also didn't help that Qin Jiran agreed to his friend's request and decided to go with him to retrieve Gu Yuyao.
