章 72: The Hotline

It's been a week since I left the city, which name I still cannot say. Living in this horribly overpriced hotel room is completely my own fault. There have been so many house showings that I have gone to, but I still do not want to buy into one and settle down. I hate everything about being here. Of all the places in this world, this is one of the last places I want to be in.

So I find myself phoning Mason this morning.

"Mason."

"Hey Carson. How have you been?"

"I am great, thanks. My reason for calling, I heard that there is a property that has just become available. I want to go buy it."

"You not serious. What about Tasnim?"

"What about Tasnim?"

"You guys, how is he going to feel about it?"

"We are not together; it is none of his business where I live."

"I will get the paperwork together."

"Thank you, I will see you tomorrow."
