Upon seeing that sight, he immediately shouted, "LIAR!"

His sudden shout made the girl froze.

"You act as if you don't care." Gregory continued to question her provocatively, "Then explain why did you ask Gracie to pass all those medicines to him?!"

Ivy did not answer and remained in the same position with her back facing the boy.

Gregory noticed that she had already crossed the portal with one foot on the other side, and so he decided to make his way closer to her so that he could catch her before she escaped through the portal.

 "I know you still care for him," he said in a gentle tone to distract her while he stealthily moved forward. 

"I don't know what is your reason for leaving him, but there is no way that I will ever believe that you no longer care. 

If you could just tell us whatever that is bothering you, I am sure there is nothing we cannot solve together."
