章 99: Chapter Ninety-eight

♦September's POV♦

I come to in a rush, one moment I'm drowning in a silent darkness and the next my eyes are flying open, one thought in my head.

I'm late for school!

I sit up in a rush, feeling slightly dizzy from the blood rush and fling my covers off, ready to dash into the bathroom before Selena starts yelling my name.

"September?" Zach calls in worry, standing up.

I freeze in the motion of throwing aside my covers. "Zach? What are you doing here?" I pause and look around a bit, frowning at the strange room. "Where is here?"

He just hurries over to the bed and pulls me into a hug. "Thank goodness you're finally awake." 

I blink at this, allowing him to hug me. "Finally awa… did I fall asleep or something?"

"You really don't remember?" He prompts, taking my face in his hands.

"Remember?" I mimic, frowning.

That's true, what happened yesterday? I frown harder when all I do is draw a blank.
