Lexine had been hiding out in her room. Her head hurt, and she felt the fervent need to sleep. Thus, that is what she had been doing the last couple of days. It was just her luck that classes had been suspended, thus she had a solid reason for hiding out in her room for the most part. It also gave her a good reason to hide away from Taevlin.

She had never thought that she would be the kind of girl to hide from a guy after they had made out, however, here she was, hiding out in her room snacking on biscuits that Aurinda had baked and brought to her. The biscuits were soft and sweet, and they provided Lexine with a good excuse to stop thinking about a certain silver haired male.

She had just picked up another biscuit, as she turned the page of the book she was reading.
