Cailina glanced at her brother as he seemed hesitant to leave. He gazed at her with worried eyes, having an expression the same as an old man.

Her brother might felt bad for leaving without saying a word to his friend. She thought that Damion allowing acquaintances to influence his emotions was another weakness he needed to work on.

"Move along now," she called out.

Damion pouted as his hand lifted his hesitant body into the carriage. There were many reasons why he refused to return to the capital.

It wasn't entirely because he would miss Leili's stories, but he was worried about his older sister's well-being. He looked at Cailina's pale face as the latter, as usual, was unaware of his concerns.
