章 109: Above All

Before the lands united, creatures scattered about. Setting borders for those outsiders that wished to enter their lands. One could never be too confident to believe someone on the other side. Hostility among kinds that differed from their own. 

Stability favored the strong while loathing the weak, it has been that way for the parasites.

The creatures that fed on another being's blood, the life that flowed within their prey's veins made their hearts raced with pleasure. Instilled fear in the hearts of the people. The rise of deaths among all kinds alarmed their leaders of the threat the lingered around them.

There was nothing but thirsty leeches, and every kind wanted them gone.

With an uncontrollable urge to drain one's blood, the vampires suffered. Scorned by everyone around them. They were deprived of the one thing they needed to survive, due to the deprivation of their food source, they became violent and bloodthirsty.
