Cailina stared at the tea's steam drifting upwards. She scanned the private room, it was a simple one compared to the extent of the Prince's capability. She sighed as her pocket watch ticked.

She enjoyed the cup of tea she had before being rushed to this place by the letter that came from His Highness. She didn't have time to inform her father about her meeting as she learned that the Emperor also had matters to discuss with Duke Grandis.

Duchess Grandis was asleep, leaving her unable to know her daughter's whereabouts.

The meeting was on the outskirts of the capital, away from the prying eyes that may follow the Prince. 

The silence around the space nearly deafened her as she waited for Elior to come. She tapped her fingers on her arm as she watched the passersby from the window.
