章 94: Karlie Simmons. Wounded Past (Part 2)

I took a look around the table at each of the faces of the people who had been my companions since I started school here, two years ago. 

"Hey, Karlie," said a senior girl sitting next to Logan. She had dark mahogany hair that she neatly tucked in a french plaid and bright grey eyes, now looking at me with their usual scrutiny. This one had a crush on Logan, I was almost one hundred per cent sure, and, just like all the other women that Logan had ever been close with, they don't bother hiding their jealousy of my relationship with him. 

"Lauren," I said as nicely as I was able to and wincing when I notice how fake I sounded. 

"Listen," she continued to say, "My sister and I are throwing a party at our apartment, we just moved in, so you're invited, okay?"
