Bella sat on one of the seats in the king's chamber while Dan paced from one end of the chamber to another.
"Can you sit down? You are making me nervous," Bella pleaded when she got tired of following him around with her eyes.
After she and Ian returned from Gambi's place, the king had gone over to Ian's chamber to have a word with him, while Bella had gone to meet with Dan in the king's chamber as that was the safest place they could stay without being noticed.
"Sorry," Dan murmured as he sat on the edge of the bed and raised a hand to massage his temple, which was beginning to ache.
"So? What are we going to do? Leave things as they are? And return to our lives?" Bella asked, hoping that he had been able to come up with a solution after all the pacing and brainstorming he had been doing.
I'm soooooooo sorry. Please forgive this lazy author for leaving you hanging. I've been too busy giving One Wild Night my time that I had to set this story aside. I promise to end it in the next couple of chapters. This story is definitely not exceeding this month.
Much love from me to you.
